My recent post concerning whether Ron Paul’s popularity was at stake or not with his recent stabs from the media has indeed had a very definite response from Dr. Paul’s army of supporters.

The post, which can be read here, well into 100+ comments all of which are in his defense can indeed clear up that in no way is his popularity dropping with some comments giving the impression that the Fox News treatment has strengthened their vote for him.

The comment given by James shows a different view on the points made in the article which I find interesting:

James

Sorry, but your post is only partially correct.

Regarding Ron being a hypocrite. Yes, this is true, but he is less of a hypocrite then guys like Romney.

Regarding Ron being an opportunist. Sure, this is also true. But on the other hand, who isnt?

Ron has explicitly said he does NOT believe that 9/11 was an inside job. So, I don’t think saying he believes is conspiracy theories is correct.

Regarding consitutional rights of child predators…well this is a tough one, it may be that he’s interested in maintaining the due process rights of all criminals, as guaranteed by the consitution.

Safer without the CIA. I don’t think he’s a big fan of the CIA, but he recognized the importance of intelligence gathering.

Regarding saying that Iran has no military, well. I don’t know about what Ron said, but you might consider the fact that Iran’s military is probably not capable of serious harm against America.

Ron does not support the war. Its only natural that he would vote for it. — Theres very little to like about the war in general and a vote to defund it seems imminently sensible. Saying he doesn’t support the troops is nonsense if you look at his record of veterans affairs.

Thanks for an interesting post!

Best,

James

It is extremely clear that Ron Paul, even though he may not be the most popular candidate in the odds of betting, sure has some worthy supporters that will stick with him to the end.

Personally, even after all the comments given showing how wanted he is, I do find it hard to see him ever reaching the goal of president of the states. However, if there was a title for the president of the world wide web, we can all clearly see that Ron Paul will have grabbed it by now. Why do I say this?

Randy

I am a Canadian. I wish I was a American just so I could vote for this great man!

With hundreds of comments along the lines of this, it’s pretty hard not to.

Are you a supporter of Ron Paul? Do you think he has the potential to become the President of the States?

Whether he has the potential or not, the internet loves him- fact.

The “neo-conservatives” and the warmongers have Fox News and others protecting and defending their view’s.

RON PAUL has his own Defenders and thier called citizens.

Ron Paul has a definite chance of winning if Americans truly vote their conscience.

We have 3 choices this election. Socialism, Fascism or Freedom. I choose freedom. Whether we win or not, I will not regret voting for freedom. I will not vote for socialism or fascism no matter what.

Ron Paul has a majority of interest on the internet but barely shows up in the national polls. The enlightened elite point to this and say that the online support is overstated and that he cannot be elected. You seem to agree with this opinion. Please consider that he has won many straw polls, his poll numbers are higher than Bill Clinton’s in 1992 at this time before that election, and most importantly that NOT ONE primary vote has been cast.

Why do they never question the validity of polls that have not changed with the times in light of the obvious level of individual interest online? You could tell if we Dr. Paul supporters were pure spam in two different ways.

    1. We would have obvious form letter type posts with no original thought. Well I am sure some would say that is true (and in some cases I couldn’t argue) but the volume of pro Paul support in every comment section of every blog, newspaper comment section and online poll is hard to write off.

    2. The other candidates would be duplicating the effort. This to me is the proof that we are real. Why wouldn’t Tancredo, Hunter or even Romney have an equal spam presence to end Ron Paul’s fake representation? Well they would… but since it is a truly genuine and open source spontaneous effort there is no way to fake it.

So, when will the media elite wise up to the fact that the polls are not working and they are not reflecting the people’s true will?

    or

Have they already caught on and they like it that way?

He makes the point that Israel which does, unlike the US, have some reason to be concerned can easily nuke Iran into the stone age without any help from us.

  7. brian says:

How many primary votes have been cast? zero

Plus he is exactly where Bill Clinton was in the polls at this time in 1992.

Voting for ANY candidate is not a lost cause. Comments such as yours foster the attitude you exhibit which is the reason that people “try to vote for who can win,” when they vote, instead of getting active in the primaries for the party candidate selection process and voting for who they want to win.

Register Republican, and vote for Ron Paul in the Primaries.

While watching the rerun of the debate, boo’s have been added to the audio after Ron Paul’s answers to drown out his cheers.

  9. William says:

Not “his” cheers, but the cheers for him.

When compared with the footage from the original debate you will be able to hear the mixed response from the audience instead of only boo’s.

  10. Seth says:

The opinion of the establishment media is not representative of the people, nor is it relevant. The fascist wet dream of the neo-cons is coming to an end. Time to throw the sheets in the hamper and Ron do some laundry.
