Pavarotti’s Funeral sees political leaders, rock stars and music fans grieve

Pavarotti died a superstar known around the world; he was born the son of a baker in Modena. The cathedral in the same town he was born in was where the funeral was held.
Archbishop Benito Cocchi said “The death of Pavarotti has made us feel poorer”, the mass was preformed by Opera friends of Pavarotti and it was broadcast live on the Internet and state television.
In the two days before the funeral, an amazing number of 100,000 people had filed past Pavarotti’s coffin.
Pavarotti was dressed in a tuxedo with his trademark handkerchief in his hand.
