Is Ron Paul Becoming More Unpopular By The Second?

ron-paul-custom.JPG

Congressman Ron Paul initially seemed like he had a huge reason to smile with his thousands of supporters, known to be mainly based on the world wide web, backing his every decision and following his every word.

However, more people are beginning to open their eyes to see the real Ron Paul as more and more unfolds with some almost ludicrous ideas that he proposes.

My personal opinion is that he’s almost grabbed his ‘supporters’ on a leesh and hypnotized them in order to follow and agree with his every idea.

As a follower of politics and current affairs, I am interested in what many politicians and congressmen have to say and how they bring their ideas forward. Also, how these suggestions may benefit myself personally and my community, my whole country on the large scale.

Ron Paul may have won over a tonne of supporters by sweet-talking them but have these people really listened to what Ron Paul is all about?

Here is a list of seven facts that have been put together that show a completely different side to the Dr Paul we are all hearing about.

  • Ron Paul believes in conspiracy theories.
  • Ron Paul votes to protect constitutional rights of child predators instead of children rights.
  • Ron Paul is a political opportunist.
  • Ron Paul is a documented hypocrite.
  • Ron Paul thinks we’d be safer without the CIA.
  • He has said Iran has no military.
  • Paul has voted against funding our troops while in combat.

Many will be interested in knowing whether these ‘facts’ have been spewed out and totally made up in order to ruin Ron Paul’s built reputation, in order to sabotage the support of his people.

Well I can can confirm that there is evidence, quotes, Youtube videos and more in order to support the seven statements made about Ron Paul above, all of which can be found here.

As ever, many people will disagree with the way in which I have presented Ron Paul and I do agree with them in that he obviously has some ideas that can be beneficial to the American way.

His ideas on health care and health insurance interest me and I am glad that he concerned of America’s health service because it is undoubtedly in desperate need of attention. In comparison to Europe’s health insurance and the sort, America is lagging behind and do indeed need to catch up as it really is a significant issue that needs to be addressed. More on Ron Paul concerning Healthcare, here.

However in my personal opinion, I truly believe that a man with the beliefs as mentioned above has no place in a US government.

“More inflation is, however, never the answer to inflation.”

The truth is that business involves risk, and businesses that miscalculate risk should be liquidated, so their assets can be reallocated to businesses that correctly judge risk and make profits.

“Instead, the Fed has injected $64 billion into the jittery markets, effectively amounting to a bailout that keeps these malinvestments afloat, but eventually they will become the undoing of our economy.” said Dr. Paul last month.

Ron Paul brings forth ideas concerning mortgages, businesses and loans insisting that those businesses that miscalculated risks should be liquidated leaving those that judge correctly to rake in the finance. Personally, I don’t think this is fair and thankfully the harsh reality that he sees isn’t existent.

Do you agree with me? Do you disagree with me? Let us know what you think of Dr. Paul.

No, I do not agree with you. In fact, I do not think you know what you are talking about. Go to http://www.RonPaulLibrary.org to read up on Dr. Paul.

You seem to be socialist who believes that everyone should be responsible for everyone else.

Your position is understandable, it takes a lot of energy, reading and higher thinking to understand Ron Paul’s views. It starts with a good understanding of Austrian School of Economics, then an understanding of the motives of the thieves in Congress, and finally an understanding of the U.S. Constitution. Considering you spelled ton (tonne) I will assume that you are not American and do not know much about our history, our economics, or our politicians.

Ron Paul is the greatest thing to ever happen to the American people, if only they will learn about him. That is difficult given that the level of discourse concerns using youtube as a citation source. Ron Paul is the only hope to stop hyper-inflation, loss of liberties and freedom and the chance to live without Big Brother. But then our friends across the pond fought us over liberty at one point, it appears from this article that they are still at it.

I clicked on the link. Got a ‘website not found’ message.

Maybe you should recheck your sources and give Ron Paul another chance.

The problem with Ron Paul is he doesn’t want to NUKE Iran. Now Big Fred on the other hand will nuke them towel heads back to the 10th century. Fred relizes that we must kill all iranians, including there children, ( so they dont grow up and hate us). Only by wiping the irianian race off the planet can we protect our childrens furture. If we dont kill these people now, they will come over here and overthrow our country.

Obviously you are entitled to your opinion, and I cannot say you are ‘wrong’ with the claims you link to on the ronpaulexposed site. However all of the reasoning on that site is in MY opinion pretty weak, and some just down right silly.

Conspiracy theory? Hardly, I’d more say an assessment of what the man sees. I suppose you thought the WMD’s in Iraq wasn’t a conspiracy theory huh?

Votes? Not supporting those two bills are a far cry from what you and the site claim, any idiot should be able to see that, regardless of if you agree with it.

Opportunist? Um, if you mean taking the route he thinks will work and fully explaining why he is doing it, sure. However I’m sorry to say this, but he is conservative. Albeit on the far Libertarian side. Is this argument supposed to be against Paul or for him? Not sure…

Hypocrite? Haha, thats a good one. He’s for a term limit but won’t quit himself while there is no limit. That is weak. You just don’t want him in Congress, say it.

No CIA? I agree with this one, I do think it is a little naive, and I hope I hear a much more detailed explanation about what he means by this, or how he would gather intelligence.

Iran? Yeah and I could say North Korea has no friends, wouldn’t be technically correct, but effectively true.

No funding? Wasn’t the best thing to do with for the troops, but Bush has plenty of money already to protect our troops, and he has enough money to bring them home. I have the utmost respect for our troops, I don’t however have much for their commander and chief.

Paul still has my vote. And yes, I realize that my life, if some of his plans become reality quickly, my life will be a bit harder for a while, and thats something I’m willing to go through for not having the reality that seems to be fast approaching with our current direction.

You actually took time to write this crap? The worst part is I actually read it. Trash, through and through. It is almost like you are claiming to know something…but never get around to saying it. Big waste of time. reading and replying.

Ron Paul speaks sound, conservative values. He has my vote.

  • michael

If I had more time to waste on your twisted writing, I would. However, I will leave one reply directed at your faux.

The government prosecutes conspiracies every day. Your point… is that you follow the brain washing of the bush babble about “conspiracy theories.” Sorry to inform you, history is full of real conspiracies… look into it. It would be a better use of your time than the twisted writing you post.

  • Beth

While I do not agree with all of Ron Paul’s stances on everything, and know several who do not. All of his statements have proven to be based in fact despite what the other candidates try to make out and many of theirs have been shown to be faulty. My opinion is that NO president can do all that he wishes to do. We have the Congress to ensure this. The saddest part is that many, if not most, of the Congress we have now is ineffectial and do not care to do their job well as long as they can garner political clout and a pat on the back from the hierarchy. If you want the best combination, vote Ron Paul and then elect Congressmen who will get off their duffs, do what they’re supposed to, and work for the people. If that happens you’ll have the right combination to bring the government back into what it’s supposed to be. JMHO

  • NH

LOL sweettalk? Ron Paul doesn’t have to. It’s the lure of his honesty we love.

    Truth is addictive.

By the way, he doesn’t believe in conspiracy theories.

  • http://www.1-free-dvd.com Clarence Malcolm

Well, here’s another magazine that is controlled by the power elites. Truthseekers see right through this B.S. about Ron Paul. Garbage website…garbage defamation of Ron Paul…communistic twisting and exaggeration of facts.

  • EEKman

Ron Paul believes in conspiracy theories.

So, then you dont believe organized crime exists?

Conversely, do you believe everything the government tells you?

When more than one person conspires to do something, that is a conspiracy, when all the facts are not known, one can only theorize what actually happened. This is a conspiracy theory. What about this is negative?

Ron Paul votes to protect constitutional rights of child predators instead of children rights.

Yes, he votes according to the constitution no matter what, he upholds his oath of office no matter what, even if it means he has to vote against a ‘warm and fuzzy’ bill he would otherwise like to see passed. This is called principle. This is not a bad thing.

Ron Paul is a political opportunist.

Due to the current rules, you cannot get on the ballot as a 3rd party without being a billionaire like Ross Perot. If you would like to see more parties run and have a snowballs chance of winning, youll have to change the system. This point on ronpaulexposed.com is pathetically weak.

Ron Paul is a documented hypocrite.

This is just stupid. Read his reasons for pushing term limits.

Ron Paul thinks we’d be safer without the CIA.

Uh, we would. What do you think the CIAs main function is? Collecting intelligence? lol. Read this.

He has said Iran has no military.

Weak point. Really stretching. Perhaps a poorly worded statement by Paul. What he probably meant is No military to speak of and not a national threat to us. Which they arent.

Paul has voted against funding our troops while in combat.

That bill also did alot of other unconstitutional things with money.

  • AntiFed1791

    You provide NO FACTS!
You and people like you are irrelevant.

  • Danny

shutup douche, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

dr. paul doesn’t want to get rid of the CIA, only the part of the CIA that involves itself in the meddling of foreign governments (look the video up when he was on Bill Maher).

  • http://www.dinksfinance.com James

Sorry, but your post is only partially correct.

Regarding Ron being a hypocrite. Yes, this is true, but he is less of a hypocrite then guys like Romney.

Regarding Ron being an opportunist. Sure, this is also true. But on the other hand, who isnt?

Ron has explicitly said he does NOT believe that 9/11 was an inside job. So, I don’t think saying he believes is conspiracy theories is correct.

Regarding consitutional rights of child predators…well this is a tough one, it may be that he’s interested in maintaining the due process rights of all criminals, as guaranteed by the consitution.

Safer without the CIA. I don’t think he’s a big fan of the CIA, but he recognized the importance of intelligence gathering.

Regarding saying that Iran has no military, well. I don’t know about what Ron said, but you might consider the fact that Iran’s military is probably not capable of serious harm against America.

Ron does not support the war. Its only natural that he would vote for it. — Theres very little to like about the war in general and a vote to defund it seems imminently sensible. Saying he doesn’t support the troops is nonsense if you look at his record of veterans affairs.

    Thanks for an interesting post!

    Best,

    James

    Wow. That was either:

    a. a goofy, ill-researched attempt at “journalism”

or b. a malicious, bordering on slanderous, piece of garbage.

Please, I’m begging you, stay in your mom’s basement and do a little research if you are really seeking the truth. And if you’re not, well, stay in there anyway.

  • JohnnyB

I think that Ron Paul might have you Brits a little bit nervous, after Ron Paul wins you guys and the rest of Europe will have to compete with a strong US economy with a Strong US dollar, and provide for your own national defense instead of just being free riders off of the United States participation in Nato.

Son’t worry we will all be better off after Ron Paul gets into office. Cheers mate!

  • infragreen

RP is none of the seven things you mentioned are accurate.
Soundbite hits for FAUX. Nice job spreading their propaganda.

    “the undoing of our economy.”

I don’t think you took that part to heart, and for all our sakes I hope RP is wrong.

  • Yourmom

    Wrong!

You didn’t even try to come up with an argument to discredit Dr. Paul. You just spouted some crap you read on some other blog.

Learn to spell, then learn to reason, then open your trap.

  • Edward

Actually, Ryan, I think you are a shithead.

And when I say shithead, I mean that you have a head…. and it is full of shit.

I strongly suggest you go back to your civics teachers, and demand they refund your tuition, because they clearly engaged in educational malpractice.

  • Raymond

    Ryan:
WTF are you talking about? You are an idiot!

  • Robert

Wow! Nice baseless smear article. Are you applying for Fox News?

  • Scott McDonnell

“Ron Paul votes to protect constitutional rights of child predators instead of children rights.”

How is this a Federal Issue? Aren’t the police capable of handling crime? And if it crosses states, why not work together?

We already have the tools in place to nip this in the bud. Why they haven’t been able to? Good question. Why give them even more power? If I don’t do my job effectively, I get fired, not given more authority.

Look, it boiols down to this. Either we believe in the Constitution or we don’t. Either we follow the supreme law of the land, or we change it. We don’t just justify aruond it because something sounds good. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. The Constitution at least provides the speed bumps.

I am a Canadian. I wish I was a American just so I could vote for this great man!

  • http://nothing Mark

Facts in this writing are way off. Everything you said made absolutely no sense and described Ron Paul in less ways than one. You my friend, need to get your facts straight before bashing on Ron Paul.

What a waste of a google search!!!

  • Rhett

Vapid, unsubstantive blathering. Is that really the best you can do? The more of this anti-Paul claptrap I read, the more convinced I am that he is the man I am voting for. Ron Paul speaks directly, factually, and with unwavering principle. Fatuous, emotional, and empty strawman arguments such as yours mean little to anyone who thinks objectively and rationally. Unfortunately, intelligence is invisible to those who do not possess it. Thank you for your (unintended) help.

  • JohnnyB

Also boils down to this, 70% of Americans are against the war, and its impossible to win an election when 70% of the people are against you. I know that Huckabee doesn’t care if we win the national election, but I do not want Hillary to become president, EVER!!! So its not even a debate between choosing a pro-war republican vs. Ron Paul! Its about choosing either Ron Paul or Hillary!

So really who would you prefer to be in charge? If Hillary wins, she will win with a mandate and a majority in both congress, there will be nothing that we can do to stop socialized healthcare, AND that will become another 3rd rail of politics and we are doomed!

Ron Paul is the only candidate that can win the national election and thats a fact! Would you rather win a battle in Iraq, or would you rather save America from a commie like Hillary who believes in World government?

Ron Paul is our LAST chance to take this country back!

  • Rhett

Oh, and to answer your shameless, web traffic-whoring headline: “No. As is in evidence by the MSNBC online poll and the Foxnews poll subsequent to the New Hampshire debate.

    MSNBC:
    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18963731/

Foxnews removed any reference to the poll of which Paul garnered 33% of the votes –twice that of the #2. Yeah, “Unpopular By the Second” –you have to be baiting!

  • Jim

Why am I reading about American politics on a British Website? Feel free to pontificate, but keep in mind no one on this side of the pond give a damn about your opinion.

  • William

    * Ron Paul believes in conspiracy theories.
… and Santa Claus, right? Were you going to say that next?
    * Ron Paul votes to protect constitutional rights of child predators instead of children rights.
… That issue had NOTHING to do with always having unfiltered news available to those who want to research.
    * Ron Paul is a political opportunist.
All politicians use the method that they think will get them elected.
    * Ron Paul is a documented hypocrite.
    Shut up.
    * Ron Paul thinks we’d be safer without the CIA.
He’d obviously replace it with something better.
    * He has said Iran has no military.
Similar to the statement, “Nobody has heard of Ron Paul.” The abverb “practically” is inferred.
    * Paul has voted against funding our troops while in combat.
    Bring troops home.

  • Mike

You’re such a fucking liar and a fool. Ron Paul’s support is stronger than ever, and is getting stronger by the moment. His comment about liquidating bad businesses is about tax payers not having to carry the burden of opportunistic financial firms who make a lot money off of giving out high-risk mortgages, hoping their allies in Washington will extort the tax payers and give them corporate welfare when the inevitable mortgage melt-down occurs.

  • Mike

I was joking around with my last post.

I encourage everyone to gather data about Ron Paul from and read about his policies. Watch the videos on http://www.ronpaul2008.com and then formulate your own opinions with ALL THE DATA.

Before I read about him, I thought he was going be extreme and silly too, but I realized that he’s right on point. His reasoning is completely logical, but the whole solution must be heard.

  • Unpopular my left foot…

It is amazing how this “journalist” spins garbage…which is still garbage, no matter how nicely it is put in lists and paragraphs.

    NO facts sir…not ‘a one.

    Ron Paul…MORE POPULAR THAN EVER!!!!

  • Sean Tirkot

Now take every bad thing that Ron Paul has ever done that you accuse him of here and now pretend that its true. Now look at the history of every other candidate that is running in the same light and all the things you accuse Ron Paul of will be found there ten times worse. So even if this was true, which it’s not, then Ron Paul would still be the better candidate and he’s an athlete and he’s better looking than your candidate and he’s the only candidate that has never done drugs his whole life and he’s been married to the same woman for 50 years and he did active duty in Vietnam and he’s a doctor, not a lawyer, like all the other candidates, so go vote for a lawyer. Oh yeah, Ron Paul could beat up your candidate in a fist fight, that bitch Fred included.

  • Ab

Mark, Dr. Paul’s position on intellegence has often been misinterpreted. He says both the FBI and CIA should be dropped in favor for one intelligence agency. He’s plainly said he opposes the CIA going into other countries and hatching revolutions and things of that nature. Therefore he wants ONE intelligence agency in charge of intelligence gathering, not black ops.

  • Harry Ass

Who wrote this blog? Some Neocon? Why don’t you go attack someone else like Rudy or Mit. These guys are real assholes. Ron Paul’s popularity is only growing and will grow until he is elected President. you can pretty much say anything you want about Paul, his supporters will not abandon him for any other candidate.

  • TheOneLaw

Is Ron Paul Becoming More Unpopular By The Second?

    No.

But with uninformed commentary like what you just wrote,

Author ‘Ryan’ is Becoming More Irrelevant By The Comment.

  • jm

Anyone who has studied history in detail easily comes to the conclusion that it is one unbroken conspiracy after the next. As for Ron Paul being an opportunist…he gave up his congressional pension, deeming it un-constitutional…this article is a joke, and after reading it I just want to send another fifty bucks to him. And I will.

  • marco

YOU is becoming unpopular by the second, don’t smoke too much before writing your crap

  • Tyler

You are far from the truth. Big government is fighting against Dr.Paul not the people. No we do not want to be like Europe in health care. We are not socialists. There is nothing wrong with privatizing anything as long as the government makes them accountable. That is what is wrong is no bid contracts go to companies and then the lazy ass government doesn’t make them accountable when they screw up the job. Would you pay for a service that was screwed up? I wouldn’t. Plus I have no idea where you got this fact that he is becoming more unpopular. He just won the fox news NH debate and even fox was unhappy about that and tried to discredit him. Stop reading into all the propaganda big media is throwing at him and start getting some facts. All these “facts” you have listed are bogus and you should be ashamed of posting them. He fights for liberties and just because you want to join the socialist agenda and think government needs to take care of you step off and let the people that want freedom stay and fight. Plus next time you offer facts put something to prove yourself not just spins.

  • AnonCastillo

“Ron Paul brings forth ideas concerning mortgages, businesses and loans insisting that those businesses that miscalculated risks should be liquidated leaving those that judge correctly to rake in the finance. Personally, I don’t think this is fair and thankfully the harsh reality that he sees isn’t existent.”

Perhaps you just don’t understand business? Businesses that make good decisions make money, businesses that make bad decisions lose money. That’s how businesses are supposed to work.

If you believe that we should all be forced to pay taxes in order to bail out a business that’s failing because either a: the management is incompetent, or b: they don’t provide a good enough product for a good enough price to make enough money to stay afloat, then I strongly disagree with you. I work hard for my money, and while I’m not as extreme as Ron Paul in not wanting it taken for unnecessary purposes, the idea of seeing my money given to a corporation because that corporation can’t turn a profit on its own makes me sick.

If you feel bad for a failing company and want to help them out, write them a check. Don’t force the rest of us to prop up a business when we prefer their competition.

  • Michael Wagner

“More unpopular by the second?” How so?
What I see is that Ron Paul is continuing to rack up straw poll victories, and has placed in the top three in 17 of 23 straw polls, well ahead of Giuliani, Romney, et al.
Membership in his meetup groups now tops 42,000 and grows every day.
Just last evening in St. Petersburg FL, during a local appearance by Giuliani, 100+ real live Ron Paul supporters rallied outside the venue to protest Giuliani’s presence in “Ron Paul territory.”
If anything, Paul’s popularity continues to grow by leaps and bounds.\

  • Observer

I have two wagers, and such as it is with all wagers, I could be wrong.

    1. The author of the RonPaulExposed site referenced, while declining to identify himself is probably Eric Dondero, or an associate. He is an aide that Ron Paul fired a while back, who posts attacks on Ron Paul on a few blogs now. Dondero has mentioned some of these same issues (with the same vitriol, half-truths, and lack of sophistication). I could easily be wrong, but it sure smells like him. A simple review of that site’s contents and links reveals an easily-dismissed feeble smear attempt.

    2. Is this silly post just an attempt to increase the number of page views by mentioning Dr. Paul? Perhaps not. But if so, you’re welcome.

  • Hedrin7

As far as term-limit hypocrisies are concerned, after he voted for them, he quit after four years. His constituents persuaded him to run for office again after ten years. He was happily running his practice in Texas, yet THE PEOPLE wanted him back. The same can be said for his candidacy. He didn’t start a campaign, he joined one that was ready made for him. I take politics seriously, and have vehemently researched every candidate I vote for. I am proud to say that Ron Paul has a history of INTEGRITY.

  • david

Wow, I wonder if I could make a list of moments when other candidates were political opportunists, lied, or supported bad policy. I think I might get carpal tunnel from typing so much. Maybe I’ll post one, just for fun:
    http://therealrudy.org/?utm_source=rgemail

  • mike

You are so wrong about Ron Paul. Who do you represent? You have missed the point completely.

  • Brian

Oh, nice smear piece! Your link included. Even the parts of this that are factually correct are debatable, if not totally explainable.

“Ron Paul voted against the Amber Alert System”

See? Shit like this. I’m supposed to think, “[gasp] Does Ron Paul hate children?”. Ludicrous.

Maybe you could explain in more detail why Ron Paul holds the positions that he does. But then, we all know that’s not going to happen.

With transparent and feeble hit pieces like this, it looks like desperation is setting in.

Ron Paul is picking up cash, activists and name recognition by the day.

    Neocons are crapping themselves.

  • shrugged

I feel dumber for having read this idiot post. Your supposed “facts” are so out of whack with reality that you seem to be mentally challenged.

Try again with some truth next time and you wont be mocked as much.

  • Erik S.

    Actually, the opposite is true.

Ron Paul seems to be becoming more popular everyday, in spite of the mainstream media, and the Powers That Be in our society. People who had given up on politics are waking up to the fact the for the first time in ages, a politician is telling the truth. This man represents the people, not the money masters.

The status quo is getting scared. They should be.

  • zenpiper

It is always fun to see a piece written in desperation.

  • litcigar

    * Ron Paul believes in conspiracy theories.
+ Ron Paul specifically debunked the idea that 9/11 was orchestrated by the government on a Fox News segment. This has been the only conspiracy theory that people have ascribed to him and the one which he addresses on that spot.

    * Ron Paul votes to protect constitutional rights of child predators instead of children rights.
+ Read Ron Paul’s remarks and understand why he votes down certain bills. You are creating a false dilemma by deciding that the only choices evident in the bill are supporting predator or child rights.

    * Ron Paul is a political opportunist.
Provide evidence to suggest that this claim is accurate.

    * Ron Paul is a documented hypocrite.
He has the most consistent record in Congress. Provide evidence to suggest that this claim is accurate.

    * Ron Paul thinks we’d be safer without the CIA.
Ron Paul recognizes that the job of the CIA is not provided for by the Constitution and is redundant with other agencies in government.

    * He has said Iran has no military.
This is incorrect, provide evidence to suggest that this claim is accurate.

    * Paul has voted against funding our troops while in combat.
Ron Paul believes that the war in Iraq is over and causes more harm than good. Given that resolutions to bring the troops back home outright have failed to make it past the president, the next course of action is to cut military funding to force their withdrawal. The war was an illegal action which continues to drain our funds and causes additional terrorist actions across the globe. We need to support our troops by bringing them out of harm’s way which is what they are increasingly finding themselves in because the military action is causing additional disorder and chaos over there.

  • KEITH CRAWFORD

This just seems like a way to gauge the amount resentment you can develop by writing ridiculous garbage. Guess you know where I stand!

  • Lawrence

if he is losing popularity that would have meant that he was very famous and well-known beforehand. i skimmed to the bottom and read that you said something like it wasn’t “fair”… oh… so at least you don’t have to worry with our caring, nurturing State to put you to bed and sing you a lullaby.

  • Albert

Dealing with your bullet points about Ron Paul 1 by one…

    Conspiracy Theories
    - Definition of Conspiracy: The act of working in secret to obtain some goal, usually understood with negative connotations.
Apparently Republicans and Democrats should be in the same category on this issues as Dr. Paul. Each party often brings forth conspiracies about the opposing party.

    - Protecting Constitutional Rights
If you know your Constitution at all, individuals…children or otherwise have a protection under the law that they are innocent until proven guilty. Preemptive attacks on individuals without evidence of action is exactly is one of the points that that Thomas Jefferson wrote about in the Declaration of Independence. Read the Declaration sometime and you will understand why our freedom has been bought buy the blood of the people and not the blood of governement.

    - Ron Paul being a political opportunist is absolutely obsurd. He is known as Dr. NO for a number of reasons, one of them being that he tells lobbiest “No” to their corporate welfare ideas or their regulations they want to impose on everyone so they have an edge. Ron Paul makes no gain from saying “No” to everyone that wants something from the government. Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution describes everything that Congress is allowed to do. Article 1 Section 9 of the Constitution describes that specific things Congress is not allowed to do. And Amendment #10 says that anything not specifically in this Constitution for Congress to do those activities are reserved for the states of for the people. Please read your constitution.

    - Please provide the documentation of Ron Paul’s hypocracy

    - Ron Paul thinks we would be safer without the corruption in the CIA

    - Ron Paul believes that Iran has military capabilities.

    - Ron Paul has voted against funding troops for a war that wasn’t declared by Congress (see Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution…Congress, only, has the ability to declare war.)

  • Michael

It is obvious to me that you are not really investigating what you are writing about. If you would listen to Ron Paul and what he believes then you would realize he believes in the form of government that our founding fathers left us… A Constitutional Republic, not the socialist society that we have now. Read some of his writings. I know his ideas seem “out there: to some people but that is because they depend on the government to fix or society. When fixing the society is up to the people, not government. According to the Constitution we have the power not the the Federal government. Government should fear the people not the people fearing the government. Read your Constitution. Most people believe their rights come from the Constitution…. Wrong. We get our rights from God, our Creator. The government gives us privlages that’s it. Again, read your Constitution.

  • Dan Warner

Please name the comspiracy theories… Like what, the north american union? Not a conspiracy, visit spp.gov

Or perhaps you mean the 9/11 truth movement, Ron Paul does not believe the govt did it, he believes govt incompitance allowed it to happen, and this has been proven true.

Lets see what else… Protecting the rights of child predators. Ok well I don’t like them either but for any of us to have rights ALL of us have to have our rights protected, the states can punish the predators.

Political opportunist… Hmmm, I think he has been saying these things for 10 terms in congress, sounds like consistancy not opportunism.

Documented hypocrite… Can you site one example?

Safer without the CIA… I believe he said we would all be safer if the CIA did not engage in dirty tricks, and I agree. He relies on CIA facts to back his positions so I don’t think he would get rid of them, just reign them in
a bit so they don’t overthrow foreign govts.

Iran does NOT have a military that is capable of attackign us on our shores. Now maybe if we stand right nest to them on their border they can lob a few old outdated weapons on us, you know the old ones we sold them.

And I believe that he voted against extending funding, there is plenty of money there to fund our troops. How about cutting back on Haliburtons fee of $95 per bag of laundry. Bye the way, since he voted against the war since the Clinton administration initiated it, I would say he has been consistant, not a hypocryte like the rest of the morons running for president.

Ron gets my vote despite what you may see as minor flaws, to me they are reasons to vote for him.

  • Doug

Did you notice the lying loser who wrote these lies did not publish his last name. This author is a coward and probably a paid extorter for the saudi arabs.

  • http://ronpaul2008.com Bill Moore

Pretty slick. Write a hit piece on Ron Paul knowing that his huge group of supporters will come and set you straight.

But what do you care, you’re getting web hits…thus making money.

Nice move. Why does this not happen with the other candidates? Because you’d get about 2 or 3 paid staffers putting in their clipped rebukes.

Ron Paul supports the free market too.

  • Mike V

Yeah… just came in here to tell you that you are a mouth-breathing retard. Every point you have made has been discredited by the other posters here, so I won’t waste my time.

Back to the Thompson campaign for you troglodyte.

  • Tom

This seems like alot of emotion-charged pundit talk. Doesn’t want to protect children? Won’t support troops in combat? What a terrible guy!

It is interesting how opponents try to use emotion to sway people away from Dr. Paul, but he uses logic, reason and facts to explain his opinions. And he has the most consistent record in congress to back it up.

  • everlasticity

Our politicians are often criticized when they vote against a bill that is touted as championing a just and noble cause. A bill may contain language that condemns such and such an act, and therefore, a vote against the bill can be construed to condone that same act. For instance, the Patriot Act contains the language that, “any acts of violence or discrimination against any Americans be condemned”. According to the logic of what I just described above, a vote against the Patriot act may be construed to mean that one actually condones violence or discrimination against Americans. The title “The Patriot Act” even suggests that to vote against it is “unpatriotic”. But this is just fallacy. The congress should have used the Patriot Act to gag President Bush for attempting to trample on so many of our civil liberties in exchange for his own executive priveledge. Ron Paul has made this argument before on different issues. He would argue that, of course, no patriotic American would condone acts of violence or discrimination against another American. However, it is the further substance of the Patriot Act that is repugnant as a violation of our basic human rights, and deserves a vote of “no”. I would suggest researching the reasons Ron Paul has voted the way he does, instead of regurgitating internet sources that feed you information. His congressional speeches can easily be found on the internet. Ron Paul votes against bills when they are unconstitutional, and if you were to take a closer look, you might find that Ron Paul, more than any other candidate, represents what you and most Americans find true and dear to their country.

  • Carlos Rivera

This has to be a joke right. Judging from the title, this is a joke right!? Try again my neocon friend its not working. I am laughing, but I’m laughing AT you NOT WITH you!

  • Billibong

“believes in conspiracy theories” — say what? Are you daft? Anyone who automatically discount conspiracy theories is an idiot, just like anyone who automatically believes them. Read history; it is full of conspiracy theories that turned out out to be true: everything from the princes-in-the-tower to Watergate. (See: http://conspiraciesthatweretrue.blogspot.com/2007/01/list-of-proven-conspiracies-from.html)

  • Richard

There is something very strange about your article. Having read it and checked it, it is filled with shallow and deceptive points. I wonder why in a like manner you are not taking on the other candidates, who are much easier targets and you would not have to be so deceptive.

Who do you prefer to Ron Paul, a candidate who is not “opportunistic” as you mentioned, who does not believe that government officials have ever conspired to do things behind closed doors, etc. and why? It is obvious to me that you are either incredibly naive or one who is committed to some other candidate and attempting to support him/her in this way.

I’d love to see your response to this. Thanks.

  • Leo

You must be a Zionist who is uncomfortable with the notion this country better start following the Constitution (do you know what this document is or what it means?). The Israeli agenda this government follows is great for the Edomite/Cananites profiting but is destroying the United States. Those weapons of mass destruction….where are they again? Which Presidential candidate voted against this silly war? Who were the people pushing for war?

  • Scott Harmon

    Don’t agree with your piece.

What is DANGEROUS is snippet journalism. You cannot reduce a prolific writer and outspoken politician such as Paul down to a set of phrases–there MUST be context such as voice tone (to note sarcasm) and reference documentation to note how a particular issue is being addressed. I know you gave some, but the lazy reader won’t go looking. Snippet journalism and headline antics are very dangerous.

I could easily hang Clinton, Romney, Guiliani and McCain on a few choice snippets, especially the ones that show backtracking and rapid reversals. Is this a sign of MENTAL INSTABILITY? Here’s one: McCain tells us that Baghdad is safe. On that view, take him to the RUBBER ROOM. Or, Bush says, Mission Accomplished. I could fill the whole page with nonsensical statements that would give Lewis Carroll the basis for 10 more books.

You see, many of us have become threatened by anyone who wants to unravel the cocoons in which we Americans exist. And so we DAMN the UNWRAPPER but praise the SPIDERS who put us in the cocoons. Now, that’s messed up!

  • Jim

One of the worst misinformed articles i have read in a long time.

You donn’t like Ron Paul fine, but what a sad puthetic attempt to smear him

  • togosd

    This was a funny article.

If the author is actually serious, God Help Him.

    lol :o )

  • Aaron

Absolute rubbish. Ron Paul is gaining popularity by the second; it is only a matter of time before people are exposed to him and see what a intelligent and charismatic leader he is.

  • http://www.topofcenter.com Ben

Sorry. You’re not going to tear down his decades of scholarship and thought-out stances in one little blog post.

“Ron Paul believes in conspiracy theories.”
Prove that he believes in something crazy. There are conspiracies all over the place.

“Ron Paul votes to protect constitutional rights of child predators instead of children rights.”
He votes to protect the rights of all individuals. Just because you can’t see wrongdoers as human is your own personal problem.

“Ron Paul is a political opportunist.”
An abstract term, subject to interpretation. You have to do better than that.

“Ron Paul is a documented hypocrite.”
    Same as above.

“Ron Paul thinks we’d be safer without the CIA.”
The second amendment is my anti-terror. The CIA is involved in more mischief than it is in intelligence gathering. Large swaths of that organization have no idea what other large swaths of it are doing. Stupid stupid bureaucracy.

“He has said Iran has no military.”
I remember that phrase. He did kind of lump them together with third-world states which are extra non-threatening to us, but you’ve got to understand how words are going to come out when you’re trying to cram a lot of information in a small space in a debate.

“Paul has voted against funding our troops while in combat.”
He has voted against funding the war. The troops do not shoot money at their adversaries. They have plenty of bullets. If you want to end a war, de-fund it. I wish the Democrats understood that.

It looks like all you know about him came from a few debate clips and a few news articles that have sprung up about him since. That is like ignoring the entire New Testament except John 11:35 and presuming Jesus Christ was a sissy crybaby.

Attempt to read just a few of his essays he has published over the decades, and understand that a President that followed his strict Constitutional role would be a freaking GODSEND compared to what we have now.

  • Alan

Your article is pure rabbish. Are you being paid to discredit Dr. Paul?

  • Curt

Please tell Ryan to look for another job, one that better suites his inability to do real investigative work. Maybe we could get him a job shoveling manure on a hog farm, or maybe a cattle ranch… I thought maybe he could flip burgers at a fast food place, but it maybe a bit difficult with his extremely low I.Q.. I am also very concerned with the validity of this publication that they would allow such inaccurate slander to be posted to a web page. I suppose they must be on the band wagon for turning the United States of America into a police state, or to rip our FREEDOM from us. Guess what you worthless puiny wimp!!! You will never take away OUR FREEDOM!!! We will oust the neocon sect in our government and take back our nation!!!!

  • OneTokeOver

Damn kid, you’ve got alot to learn, I suggest you start reading at once. One question first though, as one of your ideas really jumped off the page for me. Will YOU be the High Lord who decides when a company displays poor risk management, thus taking their private property and gifting it to others?

Well, in your readings you will discover that this is precisely how government already works.

You think government is the solution to our problems and we think government is the cause of our problems.

    This is funny!

    VOTE Ron Paul

  • Borat

Ron Paul is niiice. He will grab the elites by their testisatchell and make them bow to the US constitution. Ron Paul is real man. Waawaa weewaa!

  • Drew

I would like to see this proof too. The conspiracy theory thing is lame because all that takes is someone disagreeing with you and you are a conspiracy theorist. Have you even seen Ronald Reagan’s quote on Ron Paul and National Defense. He does not vote for the constitutional right of child molesters/criminals. Every person in America is protected by the bill of rights period. It has never stopped us before from locking them up and we are not doing too good a job if I might add. He is more Republican than any other candidate. And if you read his monetary policies, the Gold Standard, he will explain inflation to you.

  • Ray Kirkus

You are absolutely wrong about Paul. Perhaps you should read and listen more rather than jumping to conclusions. He is not less popular, but his popularity is growing. If you keep allowing the media to put words in his mouth like they have been, you are no better then them. Paul has many articles in the congressional record and has written many books. Read them. Most of his stuff is available at Lewrockwell. com

  • Scott

    RE: Fred Thompson
I read this article and am glad to see enough have responded that I don’t have to say a word. But I didn’t see anyone reply to Fred Thompson’s remark at the top. “Only by wiping the irianian race off the planet can we protect our childrens furture.” Can you believe that?!! Let’s prevent genocide with genocide!! Sounds familiar doesn’t it? Someone else in history thought they would be better off without Jews and handicaped…. Didn’t work out so well for Hitler did it? Of course, now without the United States to stand up for what is right, maybe we will succeed in eliminating an entire race. Read your history people!! We already tried eliminating another race. Does, “The only good Indian is a dead Indian” sound familiar? Not only is it wrong, it doesn’t work!!

  • http://www.lost.eu/6065b Jim Raynor

Look here, its always good to be objective and to debate the candidats and their issues. But you have little or no reason to slander and attack Ron Paul like this. Those facts you made are hardly true.
Ron Paul believeing in conspiracy theories? You might as well judge Mitt Romney for being a mormon or Huckabee who said he believed in Evolution. And of course, he has said publicly numerous times he doesnt believe in these theories. And if some of these conspiracy theories were true, depending on which ones you believe, he has no chance of winning anyway cuz of rigged elections…And you know, there is a remote chance that these at least some of these conspiracy theories are true or at the very least, there is a lot of corruption and secretcy in government right now that ROn Paul would fix! Dont you owe to your country and to the world to elect a honest man who wants nothing more to protect America?
and to your fact about protecting child predators over children. Thats ridiculous. Yes, Ron Paul voted against the Amber Alert. I dont know the details of that, but c’mon. Would you rather be enslaved?
Nothing wrong with being a opportunist, its better than being a flip-flopper, a liar or just a plain idiot that makes up the current field of republicans.
Ron Paul doesnt want to end intelligence gathering, he wants to end the secret assasinations and secret operations of the cia. He’ll replace with a more open and efficent intelligence gathering system.
Ron Paul has said Iran has no military, he’s not a military expert. They are a third world country afterall. And Ron Paul personally believes we shouldnt go to war with Iran, but if necessary and if the congress and the people actually had a debate and agreed to the war, than Ron Paul will execute like he is suppose to according to the rule of law and the consitution. I’d rather have someone point out the weakness’s of Iran and try diplomacy rather than rushing to war. War with Iran is not inevitable folks. Would you rather have a president who bypasses the congress and american people and go to war unprepared and with no exit strategy?
Ron Paul is just using whatever means he can to stop a war which he believes was unjust. If they would of succeeded in not funding the troops, than Bush probably would of kept them there anyway!! Tell me who the bad guy is!?! Congress was given the power to appropriate funds for a reason. To check the power of the presidentcy.
We need someone like Paul to restore transparency, honor, peace and freedom. Yes, he may be imperfect, he has lived 71 years you know, considering his perfect record on not raising taxes and not increasing the power of the presidency, I’d say he is the best choice

  • Rox

Dude, Ryan….not ONE comments that in any way supports your assertions. Time to start doing some real thinking, buddy. :)

  • Billy

It really does take a Eurotrash idiot to write crap like like this. Don’t get me wrong, I think most people in Europe are very smart. But then there are the loose turds floating around that simply will never be able to comprehend Americanism. If you like handing over fifty percent of your earnings to your government so that they can spend it for you, go ahead. Better yet, if they’re spending your money so well, why not fork over ALL of your money to the gov and let them give you an allowance? Shit Brit, come over here and we’ll flush you down a toilet.

  • ryan rabalais

the author of this article is an idiot and a liar.

  • John Foster

    I support Ron Paul.

  • JOE

I agree that your an asshole. Just like Britt Hume, Wendell Gooler, Chris Matthews, Foxaganda, PMSNBC, & CNN.

  • mynameis

What, you were expecting enemies of Ron Paul to say he likes kittens and fuzzy bunnies? This just shows how far United States’ level of intelligence has dropped. Lady Liberty is near comatose and her EKG is almost flat line. Ron Paul’s the only way our nation will return to the great intentions the founding fathers laid down.

  • http://none Ben

Absolutely hilarious! Your either a teenager or a very uneducated jingoist. Probably both. Do yourself a favor, before dogmatically proscelytizing about an issue make sure you have some idea of what your talking about. The title of the article already betrays your prejudice and complete factual disconnect. Even Sean Hannity would have to admit Pauls support is growing at an exponential rate. And a nice picture of Dr. Paul to complement your adolescent attempt at yellow journalism.

  • jwerner

yeah you are right…. Ron Paul is growing more UNpopular by the day……….
That must be why his meetup groups are picking up an average of 800 new members a day! The meet up group in my town doubled this month. When Ron Paul was MOST opposed to the CIA was in 88 if you remeber at that time we had something called the IRAN CONTRA SCANDAL going on and Bush was behind it (you know Ws daddy who was director of the CIA) so our CIA was doing dirty deals wit IRAN with out congress or the president?????? RonPaul is the most consistant and honest man in US plitics your article is a discrace. We have department in the United States called he DEpartment of DEFNCE right? what do they do? hmmmmmm. Ever heard of millitary inteligence? Ron Paul values information gathering and having a strong defense and belives the millitary and state and local police detectives can do a better job than the federal government departments after all the CIA did fail to protect us on several occasions and have provided people like Osama BinLaden Sadam, and terrorist states like Sudia Arabia Pakastan and Iran wepons. Agencies like the CIA IRS DEA ATF and others do not follow th Uniform Code of Millitary Justice nor do they seem to be concerned with the chain of comand or the real rule of law our constitution. Ron Paul tells the truth the opnly people turned of by Ron Paul can not handel the truth.

  • http://grannymillerblog.blogspot.com/ granny miller

Sorry to say, but I don’t think you know what you’re talking about.

Strangers have stopped me coming out of the grocery store, meetings and on the street requesting Ron Paul Bumper Stickers & Literature.
4 times in just the past week.

I’m doing a Gun Show next week & hope I bring enough stuff.
People can’t get enough of his message and Ron Paul is becoming more popular every day.

  • http://http:riddlesolved.blogspot.com/ M. Chance

Hoorah for the magnificent comments in defense of Dr. Ron Paul. You all have set Mr. Negative right. He needs to do his homework in HISTORY just as Ron Paul told Sean Hannity after the New Hamphsire debate…..another bit of info in regards to Osama BinLaden is that G.Bush Jr. is friends with one of his brothers…so how could he get rid of Osama and then look his brother in the face…another act in the shady saga of this flimsy Administration, that so many of us have come to distrust… so PLEASE Mr. so called journalist, don’t write anything more unless you are prepared to write the truth.

  • AB

You can’t be a professional writer; you’d starve.

Ron Paul doesn’t want to control anyone.
That’s precisely why he’s so appealing to his followers.

  • gino

I feel like writing something supportive towards the author, but i’m not. You are an idiot, get some facts. And a refund for your college tuitions.

  • Gunn

I think you an idiot, flat-out ignorant. I know for a fact that your ‘facts’ aren’t real, simply cut-and-past lies of mindless attempt to discredit Paul. Secondly who in their right mind would run a platform like that? People like you is the reason this country is the way it is, using pseudo-journalism and twisted-words to see what you want and and to manipulate people.

  • Seth

Hmmmmmmm. This article seems a little… how do you say… like the propaganda? Ron is big, and he’s handling bidness in the debates. My guess is that he would be gaining ground significantly. How do we qualify: “However, more people are beginning to open their eyes to see the real Ron Paul as more and more unfolds with some almost ludicrous ideas that he proposes.” That seems speculative, and nothing that I’ve heard from him is a ludicrous as what’s come out of the other Rep candidates, ie, the stay the course schtick. The claim here cannot be verified, and seems likely to be wrong. In closing, I just registered as a republican to vote for Ron in the primary. Booya.

  • Mitt Romney

The problem with Ron Paul is that he does not realize that we need to double the size of Gitmo.

Also, he does not seem to realize that the way to succeed in politics is to tell people whatever they want to hear. Pro life? Me too. Pro choice? Me too.

  • tthomp

    i disagree

    1. Just because Ron Paul is speculating about Bush doesn’t make him a conspiracy theorist. I have actually heard similar things from other politicians. Also, didn’t Jeb Bush declare martial law in Florida once? Paul is just speculating.

    2. Ron Paul simply votes according to the constitution. If he voted against or for which ever programs was determined by whether he believed it to be constitutional not just what the bill was. To say he favors child predators is just a cowardly smear showing your lack of understand concerning law making.

    3. Actually, as far as I understand it Libertarians are fairly similar to Conservatives, they definitely represent the right, not the left. Calling him a political opportunist is absurd and baseless.

    4. You have a point, but The law is the law. Anyways there are other candidates who have been hypocrites in much more significant ways.

    5. I actually don’t think we should get rid of the CIA. But Paul’s point is the the CIA is probably a major contributer to intervening in the internal affairs of other nations. I seriously doubt he would rid America of all intelligence agencies.

    6. Iran has around 400,000 soldiers in its army groups, and is predicted to spend 6.8 billion dollars on military yearly. They do have a military as far as my little research went, but I think Ron Paul’s point is that the Iranian army is an ant next to the Giant of the US Military. The US has around 1,500,000 soldiers and spends more on military than all other nations in the world combined. You really think an Iranian army could stand a chance against the world super power? I think hes saying that the armies over there are the armies of third world countries… not very effective.

    7. The Congress has had the power to end the war by cutting fundings. Ron Paul voted against the war initially, so it is only consistent to try to end the war through congress.

End note, i generally disagree with this smear of Ron Paul.

  • robert

Ron Paul is the only candidate who is interested in liberty, independence and a stronger nation and people. He is for less gov’t, and for the people who are actually the government. Politicians work for us not the other way around. The politicians in this country steal from the working man and woman at every level and say it’s the law. We The People are never asked anything, and the ones who do get the chance to answer questions, make asses out of themselves. Commonsense is politically incorrect in this country and Ron Paul is the only one who has any sense.

What a complete and utter joke this article is. Get your facts straight. Ron Paul is the only truth telling, conservative candidate there is. Don’t give a dam what you think or who you vote for, the fact is he is AMERIKAZ MOST WANTED candidate right now by the people.

He hasn’t hypnotized anyone.. he just sticks to his beliefs and sticks with the constitution. If anyone’s hypnotized it’s you for not seeing that he’s the only candidate that can be trusted fully by the people.

I don’t even have to be writing this because the Ron Paul supporters are out on the streets every day taking care of business.. but wow this is one ignorant person who wrote this article.

I started to read this article, but as I saw it was uninformed nonsense, I skipped to the comments and learned a lot more. Thank you for all the good comments clarifying the truth about Ron Paul

  • James

    I do NOT agree!

Also, let’s touch up those FACTS while we’re at it:
    * Ron Paul has never voted to raise taxes.
    * Ron Paul has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
    * Ron Paul has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
    * Ron Paul has never voted to raise congressional pay.
    * Ron Paul has never taken a government-paid junket.
    * Ron Paul has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

    * Ron Paul voted against the Patriot Act.
    * Ron Paul voted against regulating the Internet.
    * Ron Paul voted against the Iraq war.

    * Ron Paul does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
    * Ron Paul returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.combat.

ARE WE TO COWER IN FEAR FOR THE NEXT HUNDRED YEARS AS MAYBE THE BOGEYMAN WILL COME AND GET US,UNLESS WE GIVE UP OUR FREEDOMS TO “DUBYA AND THE CRIMINAL CABAL SO THAT WE CAN BE “CHIPPED” AND WATCHED, SCRUTINIZED,DIRECTED AND EVENTUALLY LOCKED UP IN DESIGNATED BARBED WIRE CAMPS SO THAT WE CAN BE SAFE FROM THE BAD “MANS”?
WE ARE REGARDED AS STUPID SERFS BY THE ELITE, AND AS THERE ARE TOO MANY OF US, WE SHOULD BE CULLED, REDUCING THE WORLD WIDE POPULATION TO A MERE 20 MILLION SO THAT THE SURVIVORS CAN BE MORE EFFECTIVELY CONTROLLED. THE HORROR OF THIS PLAN IS BEYOND IMAGINATION. IT MAKES THE ACTIONS OF GENGHIS KHAN, HITLER, STALIN, AND POL POT SEEM LIKE SUNDAY SCHOOL ACTIVITIES.
I JUST CAN’T SEE THIS SITUATION BEING RESOLVED PEACEFULLY. THEY.VE GOT WMD’S AND UNIMAGINABLE WEAPONS TO USE AGAINST US.
THE POWERS THAT BE DO NOT TRUST AMERICAN SOLDIERS TO USE FORCE AGAINST US, AND THAT IS ANOTHER REASON FOR THE WARS, TO CUT DOWN ON ANY CHANCE OFA MILITARY REVOLT AGAINST UNJUST ORDERS.
SO TROOPS FROM ” FRIENDLY” COUNTRIES ARE BEING BROUGHT IN SECRETLY TO DO THE DIRTY WORK.. NUFF SAID.

  • Joe Lawson

The guy that wrote the Ron Paul article is a Dead Fred Supporter.

Here is some facts for Fred Thompson.

He says he is Pro-Life, but he lobbied for a Pro Abortion group

He says he is Pro-Gun Second Amendment, but he voted for all kinds of Anti-Gun legislation.

Last, Fred Thompson is the true child predator. He’s married to a someone half his age so he can boost his ego with a trophy wife.

  • marhlfld

You may have ears to hear, and eyes to see, but you are deaf, blind and mind controlled by the propaganda of mainstream media and present government. (Either that or you are part of the NWO.) WAKE UP! Join the Revolution! Ron Paul is NOT FOR SALE.

  • http://tmiub.blogspot.com Brian

Gratuitous assertions, according to the rules of logic can equally be gratuitously denied. You make only a few statements of facts and from them you draw unsupportable conclusions.

He is pro child rape because he voted against a bill that is well intentioned but unconstitutional? Absurd.

Iran has no military… What he is saying is not that they have literally NO military but they pose no military threat to the US.

We faced down the Soviets who did pose a threat but we did not enter into a fruitless war. We currently trade with China who is another huge threat.

But now we must cower in the corner while our military protects us from a country that “might” get 1 undeliverable nuke (to the US) in a few years? I do no think that is a defendable position.

At the same time our rights are being stripped away and we pay a higher and more oppressive tax than the one that led to the Boston Tea Party.

Ron Paul is getting more and more popular by the second.

  • Dan

Well, I was going to chime in with my own arguments here but I can see that this was capably done already. I’m just wondering who is paying the author to write this. Remember, follow the money. The only thing I can say, is that it is apparent that the appearance of this type of nonsense means that Congressman Pauls message is getting out, people are resonating with it and the invested elite are getting a bit scared. When I think about any other candidate other than Congressman Paul as the next President, I only see more of the same we’ve had for the past 60 years. If we had only paid attention to what Ike had said as he left office. His words are still so true but this thing can’t be turned around by electing an Obama, a Guiliani, a McCain, etc ‘fill in the blank’ as they are all status quo, machine politicians who have been co-opted out of their principles and the result has been tremendously wise legislation such as ‘The Patriot Act’-give me a break. Anyone who supports a candidate other than Dr. Paul is by default supporting more of the same so they must be happy with the government we got becuase it won’t change unless Congressman Paul is the next President.

  • Shawn Murray

The writer is ignorant at best, or alternatively, is intentionally distorting the truth based upon a neocon and/or Zionist agenda.

To respond to just one of his “facts”, our Constitution’s guarantees of due process and habeas corpus must be afforded to ALL Americans, including child predators, in order to protect the innocent from being adjudicated as guilty by a tyrant with a political agenda. The Founding Fathers realized what the writer either does not, or purposefully will not – that such rights are essential in order for liberty to exist.

The Framers structured our Constitution so as to protect us from our government, and as we Ron Paul supporters intimately, passionately understand, they crafted it the way they did because they foresaw that this moment in history would ultimately come to pass. NOTHING is more imperative than restoring the Constitution and the rule of law, which NO American is above, including and especially, the president and vice-president.

I refuse to waste any more time dignifying the writer’s distortions of Ron Paul’s record/platform with a further response. I’ve got to get back to helping the great Dr. Paul become our next president. Ron Paul 2008!

  • Shawn Murray

P.S. I know I said I wasn’t going to waste any more time responding; however, the link to RonPaulExposed.com didn’t work when I commented earlier, so I didn’t know the specific basis for the writer’s purported “facts” at the time.

Dr. Paul stands for state sovereignty, yet another Constitutional protection meant to ensure a balance of powers in our government. He undoubtedly voted against the Amber Alert and abortion-across-state-lines legislation because he felt both were contrary thereto, i.e. that same would allow for an even greater (and hence more dangerous) expansion of the federal government’s authority. That’s a far cry from Dr. Paul voting “to protect constitutional rights of child predators instead of children rights.”

And BTW Charle, good observation regarding Bilderberg Corp being behind RonPaulExposed.com. What a surprise!

  • America Restored

Say that to my face and you will see what the r3VOLution is all about.

  • America Restored

Nevermind the invitation to get a taste of the Ron Paul r3VOLution I would not waste my breathe, you just sit back in your sheeple pose pretending like your imaginary world is just fine, wishing one of the NEO-CON shepards would give you a goodnight kiss after getting behind you for a quicky vote.

I will let my vote add the the 75,000,000 votes that Ron Paul will get in 2008 do my talking.

  • Tom

Without understanding Paul’s reasoning and philosophy one simple cannot assume he loves child predators and hates children. It’s akin to Bush’s reasoning skills.

  • cindy

the next president will be either:
    Hillary the socialist
    Rudy the fascist
    Ron Paul
if the Republicans nominate Romney or Thompson they will get blown away. and President Hillary and her Dem congress will run wild.
and if they nominate Rudy he will likely win, and the USA will be a defacto colony of Israel. and there will be more wars.

  • nzer

Congratulations on drawing so much traffic to your site! Well done.

About the article itself, I’m not sure if you are serious or not, but you must be aware by now that this tide cannot be turned back. You might want to move your throne up the beach a little…

Unless I missed it, I can’t see one comment here which is sympathetic to your post. Hmm… something is sure becoming more unpopular by the second, but I don’t think it’s Ron Paul ;)

  • s_david

    Ryan
You better go back to reviewing products because you have no clue what you are talking about when it come to Ron Paul. Your “list of facts” are a bunch of crap you’ve regurgitated from other disreputable sources. Why don’t you post your last name? Oh yeah that’s right – because you are nothing but a total idiot!!

    RON PAUL 2008!!

  • wm

Here’s a rule to live by.
When your introduction to somebody is based on deception, you probably don’t want to do business with him. In this case, you don’t want to count on Ryan for information or analysis, because he got you to this article by an obvious deception. We all know perfectly well that Ron Paul is not losing popularity, and is in fact, gaining converts by the second. And he knows this, even if in his ignorance he thinks the rest of what he said is true.

  • HELEN

Ron Paul is an honest man. He is not a “documented hypocrite”
I wonder how many of us are undocumented hypocrites.

  • http://ronpaul.meetup.com Ed Johnson

“Everytime there is a negative OP-ED,blog piece on the net about RP, you’ll find MANY PAGES of comments defending him.

    Spammers? Absolutely not.

    Supporters?

YES! And they’re increasing in numbers EVERY DAY.”

Amen brother. Every single negative comment just fuels my love for Liberty, and I know that the non-arguments just bring more people to understanding our point of view.

Thanks Poster, because every “Ron Paul Sucks” article gets his message out there to more people.

  • Greg8898

My God… what an ill-informed piece of garbage that article was. “Ron Paul believes in conspiracy theories… Ron Paul wears ladies’ undergarments… Ron Paul eats small children during the full moon.”

Ryan, like a lot of people, seems to think we should all just “bend over and take it.” The government says “Jump!” and we should ask “How high?” Submission may be your thing, Ryan, but some of us have had it with being screwed.

  • Micah

Wow…seven straw man arguments against Ron Paul. Maybe the people of America should be given more credit than that. We are no longer going to follow the media’s misrepresentation of a man whose entire congressional record and speeches are available for all to see and read. Maybe you should have done your homework instead of repeating such weak arguments against such a strong man.

  • Doug

    ryan,

    your ignorance is showing.

  • Bob Dylan

That’s why he’s won the last 6 Straw Polls, because he’s so unpopular. . .

That’s why he has the 3rd most Campaign money, because he’s so unpopular. . .

That’s why he’s got more of a passionate base of supporters than any other candidate (40,000 Meetup members), because he’s just so unpopular. . .

That’s why he got so much applause from the audience at the last GOP debate, because he’s just so damn unpopular!

Sorry bud but you’re in the minority.

Don’t listen to these idiot experts try and tell us the hopelessness of it all, remember the phrase “nobody ever built a statue to a critic.”

Join the REVOLUTION to take back our country!

  • http://www.animateclay.com Marc

The “facts” you mention are very short and you don’t go into detail. Well lets for example talk about this one….

Ron Paul believes in conspiracy theories.

Now most people would call it a conspiracy theory how the federal reserve controls, raises interest, prints money with no congressional oversight – and that even the president and congress have no power over.

So yes, he does believe in conspiracies. But they can also be called facts. And since he has a thurough understaning of economics he can better manage our country in my opinion.

    Ok here is another:

Ron Paul votes to protect constitutional rights of child predators instead of children rights.

Ron Pauls position on constitutional rights is simply that everyone, no matter the race, color, sexual orientation, appearance, intelligence level or income should have the same rights as everyone else.

That means that even people who do horrible crimes should be treated fairly. Your actually wrong in stating he would give child predators more rights in some way then the victims of that kind of crime.

I can go on, but your arguments are very broad and misleading. You really should learn more about Ron Paul because he is not such a simple minded person as your article might lead people to believe.

  • tom

what a misguided limey piece of shit. You must be invested in sub prime paper to want a bail out. As they say down under —- fuck off mate.

  • ZARDONICUS

IT’S A WELL KNOWN FACT THAT THE CIA IS THE BIGGEST DRUG ORGANIZATION IN THE WORLD, AND THEY RUTHLESSLY WIPE OUT THEIR COMPETITION. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THE VIETNAM WAR,WHEN DRUGS,MOSTLY OPIUM, WERE FLOWN OUT ON AIR AMERICA PLANES IN THE COFFINS OF DEAD AMERICAN SOLDIERS. AND RETURNING ADDICTED SOLDIERS WERE USED AS MULES.
THEY HAVE BEEN INSTRUMENTAL IN OVERTHROWING LEGITIMATE GOVERNMENTS AND LEADERS THE ADMINISTRATION DID’NT LIKE.
THEY ARE THE TOOLS THAT ARE NOW BEING USED TO SUBVERT AND ATTACK IRAN BECAUSE, WHO,LIKE IRAQ AND VENEZUALA, REFUSE TO ACCEPT AMERICAN DOLLARS BECAUSE OF IT’S 3 TO 4 CENT VALUE.
MANY COUNTRIES LOOK AT THE DOLLAR AS THEY WOULD A THIRD WORLD CURRENCY, AND ARE BEING VERY SKEPTICAL ABOUT EVEN THE EURO.
CHINA’S CURRENCY IS BEING MORE ACCEPTED THAN OURS. SHAME!
THE QUESTION IS WHY??? WHY IS IT THAT THE STRONGEST,MOST ACCEPTED CURRENCY IN THE WORLD IS NOW BEING DUMPED
IT’S FOR THE SIMPLE REASON THAT WE WENT OFF THE GOLD AND SILVER STANDARD IN THE FIFTIES, AND SINCE THEN THERE HAS BEEN A STEADY DECLINE IN THE VALUE OF THE DOLLAR.

ALL THE BLAME CAN BE LAID AT THE FEET OF THE CRIMINALS WHO OWN THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON’T REALIZE IT YET, THE FED IS A PRIVATE BANK,AND BECAUSE OF IT’S POLICIES, THEY NOW OWN AMERICA.

ALL THIS CAME ABOUT WHEN PRESIDENT WOODROW WILSON SIGNED THE ILLEGAL FEDERAL RESERVE ACT, AND GAVE AWAY THE POWER TO CREATE MONEY TO PRIVATE BANKERS WHO RUN ROUGH SHOD OVER OUR RIGHTS UNDER THE GUISE OF TAKING CARE OF OUR CURRENCY. PEOPLE LIKE REICH AND GREENSPAN ARE CRIMINALS.
WHAT THEY HAVE DONE UNDER THE THEIR MADE UP BANKING LAWS IS TO RIP US OFF THROUGH THE INTERNAL (INFERNAL ROBBERY SYSTEM)REVENUE SERVICE. THIS IS JUST A COLLECTION AGENCY FOR INTEREST PAYMENTS ON THE CASH THAT IS PRINTED WITHOUT ANY COLLATERAL WHATSOEVER AND LENT TO THE GOVERNMENT AT INTEREST.
THAT’S ALL THAT OUR SO CALLED VOLUNTARY INCOME TAX PAYMENTS ARE USED FOR. NOT FOR THE PROGRAMS THAT WE’RE TOLD THEY ARE USED FOR.
IT’S THE BIGGEST ROBBERY IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD, AND STILL THEY WANT MORE.
NOW WITH THE NEW WORLD ORDER, THEY PLAN TO EXTERMINATE 80% OF THE WORLDS POPULATION AND SEIZE ALL THE ASSETS OF THE DEAD, AND, BUILDINGS, LIVESTOCK,AND MONEY FOR THEMSELVES.
THIS IS TH AVOWED GOAL OF THE CABAL, AS REPEATED MANY TIMES BY PEOPLE LIKE KISSINGER, ROCKEFELLER,AND THE OTHER MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL FOR FOREIGN RELATIONS, THE BILDERBURGERS, THE BOHEMIAN CLUB,AND THE BIGGEST CRIMINAL GANG OF ALL, THE UNITED NATIONS. THIS ORGANIZATION WAS FINANCED BY THE BANKERS.
THEY WILL BE THE ONLY ONE WITH AN ARMY, MADE UP UP OF TROOPS( MAKE THAT MERCENARIES) FROM EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD WHO WILL BE USED HERE, WHILE AMERICAN SOLDIERS KEEP THE “PEACE” IN FOREIGN LANDS.THEY ARE ALREADY HERE. READY TO START ROUNDING UP”ENEMY COMBATANTS’ TO BE SHIPPED OFF TO THE DOZENS OF CONCENTRATION CAMPS THAT DOT THE LANDSCAPE OS AMERICA. REMEMBER THAT BUSH SAID TH WAR WILL LAST A HUNDRED YEARS.? HE MEANT IT. HE KNEW THAT WE WOULD FIGHT HIM FOR A HUNDRED YEARS, TILL EITHER US OR THEM WERE DEFEATED. THAT SPEECH EFFECTIVELY DECLARED WAR ON ALL AMERICANS WHO OPPOSED HIM.
OUR PROUD AMERICA, BEING TURNED INTO A LAND OF SLAVERY AND DEATH CAMPS, JUST LIKE WHAT HITLER DID IN EUROPE.
NAZISM DID NOT DIE OUT,PEOPLE. IT JUST WENT UNDERGROUND AND TOOK A NEW NAME, AND NOW IT’S RAISED IT’S UGLY HEAD WITH THE NEW NAME OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER. REMEMBER THAT GRANDPA PRESCOTT BUSH SUPPORTED AND FINANCED HITLER. NOTHING HAS CHANGED. THEY ARE STILL NATIONALIST SOCIALIST.
MANY POWERFUL PEOPLE IN GOVERNMENT, MILITARY,AND INDUSTRY ARE ALARMED AT THE AVOWED GOALS OF SLAVERY AND EXTERMINATION, AND ARE STARTING TO CAREFULLY BACK AWAY FROM THIS ADMINISTRATION. HAVE YOU NOTICED THE ABSENCE OF MOST OF HIS CRONIES? RATS DESERTING A SINKING SHIP? WHAT ARE THE OPPOSITION WAITING FOR? WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO SPEAK OUT? WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO ACTIVELY DO SOMETHING TO STOP THIS MADNESS?
I FEAR ANOTHER TERRRRIST (PURPOSELY MISSPELLED) ATTACK, ANOTHER PEARL HARBOR,ANOTHER CATALIZING EVENT TO CREATE MORE FEAR, AND THEN MARTIAL LAW WILL BE DECLARED,AND THE CONSTITUTION FURTHER TRAMPLED, AND KING GEORGE BUSH CROWNED AS CHIEF EXECUTIONER, EMPEROR,AND DECIDER OF OUR FATE. NO MORE ELECTIONS, TILL THE DECIDER WINS THE TRRRRIST WAR AGAINST US.
THEN REAL HUMANS WILL BE BURNED AT BOHEMIAN GROVE INSTEAD OF DUMMIES.
THE TRADE IN HUMANS WILL COMMENCE.
ALL YOUNG FEMALES WILL BE ROUNDED UP, ANY OBJECTORS BRUTALLY SILENCED, AND SENT OFF TO BUYERS FOR BROTHELS,AND TO HAREMS IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND ELSEWHERE. YES, IT’S ALREADY STARTED.
CHECK ON BACK ISSUES OF NEWSPAPERS TO SEE HOW MANY PRETTY YOUNG WOMEN HAVE DISAPPEARED, INCLUDING KIDS, MALE AND FEMALE.
IT’S BEEN HINTED THAT HALLIBURTON HAS A HAND IN THE FEMALE SEX SLAVE TRADE, POSSIBLY ONE OF THE REASON THAT THEY HAVE MOVED TO DUBAI.
THE WORLD IS HEADING INTO A CONDITION OF HORROR UNIMAGINED BY EVEN A MIND LIKE STEPHEN KING.

AND IN THE MIDST OF ALL THE SLIME, BLACKMAIL,BRIBES, THREATS AND MURDER, ONE LONE VOICE SPEAKS OUT, THE ONLY ONE BRAVE ENOUGH TO TELL THE TRUTH, AND HE IS IGNORED,CRITISISED, AND VILLIFIED BY THE PAID OFF PRESS MEDIA AND PEOPLE LIKE THE ABOVE BLOGGER.
I FEAR RON PAUL WILL NOT BE ELECTED.
    FOR ONE SIMPLE FACT.
NO PRESIDENT HAS BEEN LEGALLY ELECTED IN AT LEAST THE LAST FIFTY YEARS.

THE POWERS THAT CONTROL THE WORLD PRESELECT THE CANDIDATE,
AND THE THEIR SPINELESS BRIBED LACKEYS FOLLOW ORDERS AND TRUMPET THE NAME OF THE PUPPET TILL THE WHOLE WORLD FEELS THAT THE MESSIAH HAS RETURNED.
AND ALL WE GET IS MORE OF THE SAME B.S SPOKEN BY CHARMING SERVANTS OF THE ILLULIMATI, WHO OBEY ORDERS OR DIE.
    LIKE JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY.
HE ACTUALLY THOUGHT HE WAS PRESIDENT.
HE TRIED TO WREST THE MONEY MAKING JOB FROM THE PEOPLE WHO PUT HIM IN POWER, BY PRINTING F I V E BILLION DOLLARS OF UNITED STATES FUNDS, AND WITH THE FORE KNOWLEDGE OF THE VICE PRESIDENT, JFK WAS BRUTALLY SHOT BY THE DRIVER OF THE LIMO.
THE MONEY, ALREADY OUT IN CIRCULATION, WAS WITHDRAWN AND BURNT.
ONE OF THE FILMS OF THE ASSASSINATION WAS REDONE BY EXPERT JAPANESE FILM TECHNICIANS THAT CLEARLY SHOWS THE DRIVER SLOWING DOWN, AIMING OVER HIS SHOULDER, AND BLOWING THE HAPLESS PRESIDENT TO KINGDOM COME. THE VERY SAME PEOPLE SWORN TO DEFEND HIM WITH THEIR LIFE.

IF WE CAN REMEMBER OUR HISTORY, LINCOLN WAS ALSO ASSASSINATED FOR THE SAME SIN.
HE PRINTED HIS OWN MONEY TO FIGHT THE CIVIL WAR, INSTEAD OF BORROWING FROM INTERNATIONAL BANKERS.
    HISTORY REPEATED ITSELF.
IT’S NO COINCIDENCE. PEOPLE WHO DON’T REMEMBER HISTORY ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT. CHECK IT OUT. DO THE RESEARCH. FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF, INSTEAD OF WRITING ME A DIRTY REPLY.
STOP BEING DISTRACTED BY STUPID TV SHOWS AND DRINKING BEER TILL YOU FALL ASLEEP.
YOUR LIFE AND FREEDOMS OF YOUR CHILDREN, FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE AT STAKE.
THE DESTRUCTION OF THIS COUNTRY IS IMMINENT, DO SOMETHING NOW. IF YOU WAIT, IT WILL BE TOO LATE.
RAISE YOUR VOICE AND TALK TO THE PEOPLE WHO ONLY GET THEIR NEWS FROM THE IDIOT BOX.
PEOPLE WITHOUT COMPUTERS RARELY GET THE TRUTH,AS THEIR IS NONE ON TV. THANK GOD FOR THE INTERNET(S)

SUPPORT RON PAUL, THE ONLY GENUINE AMERICAN HERO.
THE ONLY ONE SPEAKING THE TRUTH.
    KEEP THE REVOLUTION ALIVE.

SPREAD IT WITH AS MUCH ENTHUSIASM AS CAN.

    WITHOUT HIM, WE’RE SUNK.

A CUBAN TOLD ME RECENTLY,” IF THINGS CONTINUE LIKE THIS, I’LL HAVE TO MAKE A RAFT AND GO BACK TO CUBA AS A REFUGEE.”

    SAD, BUT TRUE.
