Facebook profile appears in Google results: how do you feel?

If you thought that your privacy was threatened by the news feed, you will not be happy to learn that your Facebook profile will now appear in the Public Search Listing results of Google. That means that your Facebook profile will be searchable in the search engine, and Yahoo and MSN will show the results as well.

So if you would like to change your Facebook profile you have one month to do it in before the main three search engines index your profile. However at most the results will only include your name and profile picture.

Many users are worried about this, but remember when you set up your profile you have the choice of viewable by “everyone” in order to appear in order for it to appear in search engine results.
