Update: Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti has died aged 71
September 6, 2007 | Filed under Celebrity News, News

We reported that opera legend Luciano Pavarotti’s health was getting very serious, we now have learnt that Pavarotti has sadly died at the age of 71. The Italian tenor died at his home in Modena after a long fight with pancreatic cancer, which he was diagnosed with last year.
Many tributes have been pouring in; Placido Domingo a fellow tenor had this to say “always admired the God-given glory of his voice.” Luciano’s wife had told papers that he was fighting like a lion, she then went on to say that she thinks that he went to his home to die among family and friends, and sadly she was right.
We would like to offer our deepest sympathy to Luciano Pavarotti’s family and friends.
