Tennis stars Roger Federer and Venus Williams advances to U.S. Open Final

Both Roger Federer and Venus Williams have made it to the finals of the U.S. Open, although they both took different directions in reaching the tennis final. Federer the world number one who has one the tilt three time before beat Andy Roddick in three straight sets 7-6 7-6 6-2, Williams however had to push hard to win hers as she lost the first set to Jelena Jankovic then clawed back the other two to win 4-6 6-1 7-6.

Venus Williams now faces top-seed Justine Henin in the semi-final, other tennis players who have booked their place in the women’s U.S. Open Semi-Final are Nikolay Davydenko, Anna Chakvetadze and Svetlana Kuznetsova who is all Russian seems like American Venus is outnumbered.
