James McAvoy and Keira Knightley have denied rumours about their respective next films. McAvoy was set to star in the Eddie The Eagle Edwards movie, but said, “”I’d have loved to have played him but no, that’s not true.” It is now rumoured Steve Coogan will be playing Eddie The Eagle.
Keira Knightley was then asked about any more Pirates of The Caribbean movies, to which she replied, “There may be more, but not for me. I’m finished with them.”
The two stars can currently been seen in epic drama Atonement. McAvoy has revealed he nearly made a mess of a celebrated six-minute sequence in the film where his character, Robbie Turner, wanders the packed D-Day beaches looking for a boat home.
He says, “I nearly made a hash of it, and when I got it right my co-stars didn’t. It features 1,000 extras and is nearly six minutes long. I got it wrong twice, then on the third take we got it.”
