Cynthia Mort Sells Murder Mystery To Producer Graham King

Neil Jordan’s The Brave One is about to be released in the states and its screenwriter, Cynthia Mort has never been more high-profile. The Brave One see’s Jodie Foster as a New York Yuppie who seeks revenge after hoodlums kill her boyfriend. The reviews for the movie are phenomenal.

Cynthia has obviously been a busy lady, riding on the wave of success after The Brave One, she has sold an untitled murder mystery to producer Graham King (Martin Scorses’s right-hand man).
King’s production company, GK films, will be overseeing the movie which is described as a ‘fast-paced morality tale’ akin to the films of the 80’s.

Speaking to The Hollywood Producer, King said,

“It’s such a thrill to find material you simply must bring to the big screen, especially when it gives you the chance to work with someone who is at the top of her game.”

Nothing else has been revealed plot, cast or director wise but as soon as we know, you’ll know.
