The long- awaited Labor Day that we all know and love has recently come and gone and as per usual, started the presidential season. However, Ron Paul had an extra reason to smile as the impressive figure of 40,000 volunteers had been met, which is a substantial amount more than Barack Obama, the candidate with the second best Meetup organization who has 5,801 members.
The most likely reason as to why the Ron Paul campaign has been so damn widely recognized for its powerful presence on the internet is due to his widely known support to the world wide web. That really was a great move seeing as there are millions of us web users on the net daily, complimented by Ron Paul’s ideas.
His campaign leads all GOP candidates in every significant online aspect including website traffic, MySpace and Facebook friends, YouTube subscribers and Google searches.
“All over America, Meetup group members are coming together and organizing to support Dr. Paul,” said chairman Kent Snyder. “Our Meetup groups help give us the grassroots support that other s are trying to buy.”
What do you think of Ron Paul?
How has he managed to successfully win over so many members?

Ron Paul has won my admiration and support; and my vote come primary time. He’s a real conservative in a time when we desperately need one. Thanks.
Why is Ron Paul so popular on the internet? It’s because the internet is the only free media left. All tv is bought and paid for. On the internet you can freely distribute and find information on anything. Once you come across Ron Paul (the man and the message) it’s hard to not have a feeling deeper than you’ve felt for any other politician. IT’s because he’s worked his whole life for THE PEOPLE, not the special interests.
Just listen to Ron Paul, he will fill you with pride. He honestly gives me “Hope for America”.
What do I think of Ron Paul? I think he’s the only legitimate heir of the legacy of the Founding Fathers–not necessarily those who wrote the Constitution itself, who were more concerned with devising the structure of the government, but those who authored the Bill of Rights to protect the citizens from that government.
The first Constitutional Convention was an amazingly contentious affair of bitter argument and widely divergent and deeply held opinions. Just about the only thing the convention delegates agreed on was a profound distrust of those who wielded power, and two centuries of an ever increasing shift of power to government and away from the citizens have proven that distrust to have been well founded.
Dr. Paul is the only candidate who seems to recognize that the society we have now is a long, long, way from what Thomas Jefferson and George Mason had in mind two centuries ago.
Why are some people still suggesting that somehow Ron Paul’s on line supporters were in some way employed or used by him? Don’t the other cadidates have on line supporters with exactly the same opportunities or are they just plane not as popular? No one twisted my arm, I first heard DR.Paul speak on the internet not on Fox News, that coupled with other important news NOT made public on the Main Stream,is going to save me $85.00 per month on my cable bill which i’m having turned off tomorrow.
I have been reading Rep. Ron Paul’s literature since I was a sophomore in high school. That was 7 years ago in 2000. Rep. Paul has a consistent stance and he speaks with constitutional logic. Our Constitution has been twisted and betrayed in so many ways. The president has to take an oath to the uphold and defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. Rep. Paul is the only Republican candidate who speaks of doing this. The other Republican candidates like to talk in circles and quote hearsay. I haven’t watched the Democratic debates but I know they are doing the same.
Pre-emptive war is un-American. A national id card is un-American. Free speech zones are un-American. America IS a free speech zone. Very few people understand the connection between Liberty and sound money. Dr. Paul is one of those people. He is deeply learned about the foundation of our country and believes that freedom and liberty wins. It finds a way. I agree.
Forget about what any of us think about Ron Paul…what do YOU think about the restoration of our Constitution??? If you care, you’ll do your research (which EVERY responsible voter should be obligated to do)and understand why Paul is the only choice available.
This debate last night let me know who he is. I think I support him!
Ron Paul makes perfect sense. He’s got my support 100%. Let’s face facts, he’s the only honest person among all the candidates for President, Republican or Democrat. I mean, can’t you just feel it? The others are plainly empty-headed political windbags—so obvious to me, and I trust my instincts at age 58. Finally a statesman of the highest caliber. Wake up, America. You are nation of sheep being led to the slaughter. The puppet masters are real, and they’re pulling your strings. Give the man with the $12 haircut a chance! And when you get in, Rep. Paul, just stay put in the White House, ’cause you challenge every crooked power elite in the country. RonPaulRevolution2008
