Microsoft Xbox 360 HD DVD to get price cut in Europe
Microsoft has announced that their HD DVD add-on for the Xbox 360 is to get a price cut in Europe, at the moment the price is €200 and will now drop to €180. However it still seems that those in Europe are still getting a bad deal because if you do the conversion they are paying $244 for the Xbox 360 HD DVD add-on, whereas in the U.S it will only cost $179.

This price cut I fear will not help increase HD DVD formatted discs sales, as the gap between them and Blu-ray seems to be getting larger and this is mainly due to the Blu-ray being incorporated into Sony PS3. However many still say that the Blu-ray player in the Playstation 3 is very poor against a standalone one.
