Will There Be A Halloween Sequel?

Rob Zombie has signed a two picture deal with Dimension Films. Does this mean more Halloween movies? Well, with Halloween breaking the Labour Day weekend record (aiming for $32 million) the film has earned twice as much as it’s estimated $15 million budget.

So, with the film being so successful, will there be a sequel? Bob Weinstein, head of Weinstein Company has told Reuters,

“I never say never never … but it would have to be something very, very different.”

I think even Rob Zombie will be hard pressed to find something ‘very, very different’ although in Hollywood it’s not the story that sells the pitch, it’s how much money the film will make.
