As we reported earlier today the tropical storm turned into a category one hurricane today, which may seem low at this time, but with winds of 120 kilometres per hour you can never be to careful.
It has been reported that when Henriette was a tropical storm it had claimed the lives of seven in Mexico.
South of Baja California is apparently a popular tourist area on the Pacific coast and as the rainfall was very strong the authorities decided to close schools, air and sea transport.
They are expecting the hurricane sometime this afternoon.
