Rumor of a Sony PS3 Firmware 1.92 update
It looks as though Sony have sneaked yet another update in; this firmware update for the PS3 is version 1.92. Sony have been working hard as it was only about a month ago when the Playstation 3 had firmware update 1.90, and Sony are saying that this Firmware 1.92 will add tons more changes.

It is believed that the update is to happen in the order of Japan, Europe, and North America, we do not know if they will happen simultaneously or in that order. We are not sure what the new firmware update will give us yet, but one rumor is that the Sony PS3 will now be able to download from USB storage devices, also another rumor has mentioned that firmware 1.92 will allow Incognito’s Warhawk to be played over the Sony servers, but this has not yet been confirmed.

So have you got the Sony PS3 Firmware 1.92 update: what changes have you seen?

You could already download from USB storage devices and play on the Sony servers in Warhawk. And Sony didn’t say anything about big changes in the 1.92 update, they released it silently. The full details haven’t been released for the US, but here is a link to the Japanese site explaining the updtae features (which aren’t many)
