Nokia battery not on the recall list explodes and injures woman
We know that Nokia and also Matsushita were very busy recently as they had to recall over 46 million batteries from the handsets. Well it looks as if could be in for some bad news, as a woman in India was injured as her Nokia cell phone exploded and it was a power cell that was not on the recall list.

The battery was a BL-D3 series, and the Nokia blew up after the cell phone had only been on charge for ten minutes, what occurred nest was a ball of fire that gave the woman minor burns.

Nokia have since stated that the “incident was isolated,” they then went on to say that if they find that both the handset, the battery and also the charger are original then the Indian lady will be compensated.
