New Apple iPod to Feature DAB Digital Radio: What Else?
September 4, 2007 | Filed under Apple News

We all know that when it comes to Apple products, Steve Jobs certainly knows what he’s talking about. With the extremely impressive selection of iMacs, iPods and the newly successful iPhone, I doubt that Apple have yet to make a product with any kind of major flaw. However, I personally do doubt the decision of digital radio in an iPod.
The reason is due to the fact that I feel Apple are beginning to lose that exclusivity that they always had, especially id they decide to allow third party applications to control their device. However, with every good idea comes a money making one too, that being that Apple may be planning to charge people to download the tracks they’re listening to, which is convenient. Unlucky Mr. Jobs because the Sony Ericsson Walkman phones got there first. If this is true, I will be a very happy bunny.
If you’re thinking this is all a load of speculation, worry not. A “reliable industry insider” told a well known technology site that “the announcement will include plans to bring digital radio to the iPod along with an option to buy music using the device”.
With the new range of supposedly widescreen boasting the same touch capabilities as the iPhone and a rumoured OS X having been made too, what do you think we can expect from the big Apple event tomorrow?
