Lullaby Spring artist Damien Hirst sells diamond encrusted platinum skull for £50 million

I am not sure if the skull warrants the auction price of £50m, it has been cast from a 35-year-old 18th century European man, and the skull still has its original teeth. The skull has now been coated with 8,601 diamonds, one of which is large, pink and in the centre of its forehead and is worth £4 million. Damien decided to own a share of his work so he could oversee a global tour of the skull and some of his other work.
The skull has caused some outrage as some feel that the work is tasteless, some experts in the art world still say that Damien Hirst is a bit of a joke in the art world, but he much be doing something right.
