Xbox 360 for Halo 3
With all the recent problems I had with the Xbox 360 and its overheating, I am still glad that I kept me 360 after buying the Sony Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii.

Although for the past few days my gaming hours have been taken up by the Sony PS3 and Warhawk, I will be going back to the Xbox 360 for Halo 3…and am I looking forward to it.

Halo 3 is a game I have been waiting all year for and in a few weeks it will be here with us, September 25th Northern America and the 26th for Europe.

So am I the only one this excited about the game, let us know Xbox 360 owners in the comments.

Also is anyone going to buy an Xbox 360 just for Halo 3?

I own an xbox 360 and haven’t really been excited about Halo 3. I still play my Xbox 360 all the time and will probably get Halo 3 at sometime, but I’m not going to have it on the day its released. There are plenty of other games on the 360 that I’m excited about.

I would be amazed if Halo 3 is as good as Bioshock. But I really hope it is.

I bought a xbox just last week with the HDMI port, I was shocked at how hot it got after 1/2 hour of being on, the fan that cools it was so loud I ended up returning it. I will be waiting for a better designed, cooler running model.

I’m more excited about Halo 3 than any game since… well… Halo 2. I’m also really looking forward to the campaign story - I thought it was great in spite of the abrupt ending in Halo2, and I’m really anxious to see how the story ends up.

The multiplayer is going to be amazing, and the gameplay recording and clip sharing should make for a lot of fun for my friends and me. Can’t wait to see it in action! 21 days 6 hours 49 minutes and 31 seconds from now.

i bought the 360 for a lot more reasons than halo, though it was the driving force… if there were no other games on xbox besides halo, i might still buy it.. call me a fanboy but i have never had as much fun gaming as i have in halo 1 & 2.

I bought an Xbox 360 so I could play Halo 3 but I also will have many other games. Halo 3 was also my driving force for getting a 360.

I own an xbox 360 and recently my wife bought me a PS3 as a gift. Owning both consoles i can tell you the xbox 360 is a better console, everything from the interface to the games, it feels a more substantial console, while when you switch on the PS3 it feels like you are playing a bigger version of the PSP.

I bought my xbox360 just because I wanted to play Halo 1 & 2 on it, and to a lesser extent (because I have not seen it yet) one day to play Halo 3 in full HD. Think about it, factory confortable wireless controllers, cool headset, also you can tell the game runs smother.
I have had so much fun playing cooperative-legendary with my friends, that I feel like I owed something to the halo universe. Think about it, Halo 1 looked amaising, sounded amaising, story was engaging and AI was second to none, and on top of all of that you had a game where all the buttons did something important, a level of control that once you became at least advanced enought to beat it in heroic, you and your friends had to play it every week or two all over again. In my case it became a great social dimention, adding beers or whatever other head spinners we could find. We just had to visit that world every once in a while.
I will never forget the feeling of jumping back shooting forward and thowing a perfect granade to a even farther enemy, I have played and bought many other games, GOW being one in my drawer for example, but it feels like something is missing, the funny thing is that I did not feel at all alone on Novermber 9th 2004 midnight when I met with about 100 people on BaySide Miami to pick up Halo 2, it was awsome.
Take my word for it, grab your friends, sell your PS3 and jump on this game.

Halo 3, in essence, is what most gamers have been waiting for. I specifically bought the 360 for Halo 3, and sold off my other xbox’s to make up for it. Right now in my area you can trade 4 old xbox games for Halo 3… Game on!!
