After Tennessee defensive tackler Xavier Mitchell was carried off the field with an injury, the 12th ranked Cal football team swooped to victory 45-31.

The Cal Tennessee was an exciting game, with Nate Longshore throwing for 2 touchdowns and running for a third.

It was a good football game for Nate Longshore as he completed 19-of-28 passes for 241 yards.
