Suggestions have been made that owners of commercial properties should ensure that they take the correct steps to give the correct information to their insurers.

Such details as the level of security protection provided to the property and pinpointing where safety devices are.

This may also include the materials which have been used in the construction of the property.
Location of the property is also a factor when requesting information.

“Accuracy of information is always the critical issue. The best deal is sometimes achieved by failing to disclose the correct information, but this is absolutely a bad idea” said Paul Hopkin spokesman for AIRMIC

  1. Accuracy of information has to be there always otherwise if it doesn’t happen it creates bit of problems. It would also include, the materials used while constructing the property..
