Bruce Willis To Visit Pinksville For Next Movie

Bruce Willis has signed up to star in director Oliver Stone’s next film, which is to be based on the 1968 My Lai massacre in Vietnam. In the film, Willis will play a real-life army general who investigated the murder of hundreds of Vietnamese villagers by US soldiers.

It is reported that Stone is close to closing a deal with Hollywood film studio United Artists, who are set to finance the project.
The film, titled Pinkville, will be the fourth film set in Vietnam that Stone has done, including the 1987 Oscar-winning Platoon.

It is likely filming on Pinkville will start next year with an estimated budget of $40 million. Bruce Willis will be playing William R Peers, who was appointed to investigate the My Lai massacre and its cover-up by the US Army.

Channing Tatum (Step Up) has also lined up to appear in the film.
