When we say Michael Jackson we do not mean the singer, we are talking about the world’s leading beer critic he was also a write, historian and scholar, Jackson was found dead in his London home. Many would not have heard of this Michael Jackson but in the beer community he was the driving force for over thirty years thanks to his first publication World Guide to Beer. Jackson was the only person who managed to bring good beer in to the main stream press; he knew the history of beer inside out.
If you still need your memory jogged as to who this Michael Jackson was, just think back to the TV show in the 90’s called The Beer Hunter. Many who knew him noticed that as he got older he became more eccentric, and in December 2006 Jackson admitted to have been suffering from Parkinson’s disease for over 10 years.
Friends and beer lovers will miss Michael Jackson very much.
