Dark Knight Funeral Scene

Spoilers for The Dark Knight have been posted thick and fast on the internet. The latest one, about a huge funeral has been causing quite a stir with fanboys and with everyone wondering - Who is the funeral for? we only felt it was fair to let you know!

According to a report by Comic Book Resources, there was a large framed picture of Morgan Freeman above the coffin. Although, we’re not sure about this. Was Fox with Military or Police as whomever the funeral is for was given a seven gun salute. Could it be that they consider Fox’s work on technologies at Wayne Enterprise to be service for the military?

Either that or the whole picture stunt was a hoax by Warner Bros in an attempt to keep the real identity guarded. It has been said that the funeral took place in a public place with a ton of extras so the latter could possibly be true, especially with film spoilers popping up everywhere.

  1. John says:

The funeral isn’t for Freeman its for the Commissioner Loeb from the first movie. He will probably get killed making way for Gordon to step in and take the role as commissioner. Look at this picture and you will see Loeb. http://host.trivialbeing.org/galleries/tdk-aug2425-memorial-rory/DSC00924.jpg
