Robert Downey Jr. Joins Jamie Foxx in The Soloist

A while ago, it was announced that Jamie Foxx had signed on for Joe Wright’s The Soloist, the story of a Julliard trailed violinist who develops schizophrenia and becomes a homeless busker. At the time of the announcement, the film was seeking an actor to play the LA Times journalist who wrote of the violinists story and bought it to the masses.

That actor shaped hole has now been filled courtesy of the Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr., who will play journalist Steve Lopez.

With these two mammoth actors signed on to the film, The Soloist has now become a must see movie next year.
