Bruce Campbell Will Not Return To Bubba Ho-Tep Sequel

Last week it was reported that Paul Giamatti was waiting on Bruce Campbell for a Bubba Ho-Tep sequel. We were all hoping that Bruce would return and a sequel would be made. We all thought it would be a given that Bruce would return as Elive to team up with Colonel Parker and fight Vampires.

Unfortunately, Bruce obviously doesn’t need the work as, in a recent interview Campbell said,

“[BUBBA NOSFERATU] is dead to me. It sleeps with the fishes. Don Coscarelli is a very passionate filmmaker. We got to a few points [developing the screenplay] that we couldn’t reconcile. I want to keep our friendship, so we parted ways. So I’m not part of that project.”

Don Coscarelli, director of Bubba Hp-Tep has said he is considering recasting the film wit another popular actor. Any suggestions on who that actor could be?
