Bill Maher’s Religious: Exclusive First Look

A while ago, we reported that Bill Baher’s religion documentary would have the title “Religious”. It has now been confirmed by Lionsgate. Maher and Larry Charles (director) will attend the Toronto Film Festival in September to preview some footage and hold a Q&A session.

Also released by Lionsgate was the first official still from the film (above). The film is set to be released in Spring of 2008, which would suit Maher’s plan to release the film on Easter for maximum controversy.
