Beyonce Knowles Honors Five National Guard Soldiers

Merced native Army Sgt. Monica Estrada, 30, was one of the five National Guard soldiers honoured by Beyonce Knowles on Tuesday evening for their service in Iraq.

Sgt. Monica Estrada was chosen to attend “The Beyonce Experience” concert at the Save Mart Centre in Fresno as part of the Army’s Operation Tribute to Freedom Program, which recognizes returning soldiers for their service in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I think that this is a good idea what a great way to recognize the soldiers who are doing such a difficult task.
