Warhawk No Game Sharing: milestone for PlayStation Network and Sony PS3

Warhawk No Game Sharing
Warhawk will have no game sharing and I would guess this is because Warhawk is more like a full title than the normal PlayStation Network games we are use to.

Although that will still make Sony PS3 gamers unhappy as they have loved being able to share their PSN game purchases up to 5 times with PS3 owners.

So Warhawk looks to be a milestone for both PlayStation Network and the Sony PS3 itself, we now will have to wait and see if this happens more often or if Warhawk is just an exception.

We also have to remember that Warhawk is such a bigger title than other PSN games that it’s even available in Blu-ray form.

Feel free to give your opinion on not being able to game share with Warhawk.

I don’t mind the “no sharing” rule for the downloadable version of Warhawk, but it also has a “only playable by owner” rule. I have other accounts on my PS3 and those accounts cannot play unless logged in under my account. Meanwhile, I would guess that people purchasing the disc are able to make separate Warhawk profiles and play under their own ids.

I am ok with the no sharing. I thought the concept was always put into place so people didnt feel cheated when they bought a cheap online game which was really rather nice of sony to do. With Warhawk though so much time and effort and money went into the development (I would know I was a Beta Tester) that there really is no reason to give Sony a hard time about trying to get their dough back. Wel will be getting our moneys worth with this one trust me.

It makes perfect sense to me…

Why would they charge only once for five people to play a full game like this? The development costs in a title like this more than justify the price they charged for it.

I live in the UK but have downloaded this with a few of my friends and we just have to play on our US accounts at the moment.
