The 2009 Jaguar XF will have the new shift-by-wire transmission control which is used with their sequential shift system this is the system that the XK sports car uses, although the Jaguar XF will change gear quicker.

In most cars you have those ugly looking air vents, but not in the new Jaguar XF, as when the car is not running the dash is all sexy and flush, then once the ignition is switched on then the vent will go to the open position.

Jaguar are hoping that this new Jaguar XF four-door saloon will help stop the decline in car sales in the U.S, the U.S will be getting a choice of two engines these are the 4.2-litre 300 hp naturally-aspirated V8, and also the 4.2-litre supercharged V8 which produces 420hp.
