Photo of Lunar Eclipse: over Auckland’s north Shore this evening
By: Peter Chubb | August 28, 2007 | Leave a CommentFor those of you who missed it, here we have a photo of that lunar eclipse. Even though it was a total eclipse there was just about enough light left to produce a ring of light that managed to illuminate the surface of the moon. And to make this lunar eclipse all the more special was the fact that there was enough dust in earth’s atmosphere that is made the surface of the moon appear in blood red.
