Mobile Phone Throwing World Championship, What It Is All About

I know every one gets frustrated with their mobile phones some times, it slows down, you get a message that annoys you and you feel like throwing your mobile. We have all felt like that before, but did they really have to make a tournament on it?

There are two types you can do, throwing of a mobile phone and freestyle. In the first type of contest you have to throw a chosen mobile phone as far as you can, the second type you have to juggle phones in front of a panel of judges and get judged on how well you do so.

Last Saturday the contest was held in a small Finnish village of Savonlinna, 32 contestants got in to take part, the winner of the throwing contest (Tommi Huotari) threw his phone 294 feet and the winner of the freestyle contest (Taco Cohen) among other tricks walked on his hands while dressed as a women.
