Hannah Montana: Nov 23 concert by Miley Cyrus sold out in 15 minutes

It has been reported that the tickets to the 23rd November concert by Miley Cyrus, who plays the lead role in the popular Disney television series Hannah Montana sold out in less than 15 minutes on Saturday, leaving plenty of local parents to explain to their daughters why they can’t go to the Sommet Centre show.

Apparently mothers are further bothered that some tickets are in fact still available at online auction sites, but that those tickets are selling at high prices. Face value of the tickets range from $23.50-$63.50, but on eBay Monday afternoon, many seats were being bid on for more than $300 apiece. And Ticket master’s “Premium Seat Auction” is taking bids on floor seats for more than $700 a pop.

Quick sell-outs are nothing unusual in the concert world but re-selling tickets for a profit is legal in Tennessee, and the “Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Tour” is the hottest ticket of the summer.
