EA games thinks the PS3 “Just sucks!”

The hostility between the worlds biggest game publisher EA Games and Sony has reached boiling point recently. The game developing giants EA said the following on the PS3 recently: “The truth is the PS3’s tools and the way it works just sucks. The truth is they are both virtually the same in terms of hardware when it comes to how powerful they are, maybe the PS3 has a few different things that makes it a bit more advance, and Sony has this idea that it is designed for optimal development but that’s a load of crap. In the last generation we would make the game for PS2 and then port it over to Xbox, but because Xbox was easier to develop for, we could actually enhance the title a little if we wanted to. The case with this generation is different, now we make the game for 360 first and then port it over to PS3, but we really don’t have the time to mess with how the PS3 works to really add to much more. It will change in the future, but for now it sucks.”
This speaks for itself really.

What kind of shit old news is this. EA making excuses for 30 fps Madden. Don’t blame the ps3 cause you suck at programming for it. I can see countless devs making great games that require way more advanced techniques than Madden uses.
And which of the educated top execs at EA said this little gem? It sounds like it was written by a child.
Grow up, most people who own PS3s now are adults with cash to spend on games and other forms of media, why do you think Blue Ray discs are outselling HD disks, because the PS3 is a multimedia platform not a dedicated games machine. I’ve upped the HDD on my machine to 120Gb, with a 500Gb external drive to hold all of my media content and once the TV recorder comes out I’ll buy that too.
As for games - I’ve got most of the top ones and they’ll do me until I get Warhawk, Lair and PES - who cares about EA? I’m more interested in Killzone and MGS.
EA not developing games for the PS3 will be fatal for Sony. EA is one of the biggest game developer in the world… actually.. biggest according to Tech TV.
NO NO NO (EA is one of the biggest game developer) Distributor yeas EA does not make games they buy other people stuff put their logo on it and that’s it. So NO I don’t think this is gone hurt Sony in any kind of way unless you MUST HAVE Madden LOL
