Ceratech cement
CeraTech Inc have now produced a new kind of cement, that is both fast drying and also environmentally friendly. The company is led by an Army veteran who felt that the military needed new fast drying cement that is ideal in combat conditions. Traditional cement take a while to dry but Ceratech cement dries in only four hours, and it gets better the cement can be driven over by vehicles or even aircraft.

This could be very important in combat zones such as Iraq or Afghanistan. The New Jersey authority have been testing Ceratech cement for two years now, so that they can use this fast cure cement on residential roads, but it is still early days and there are many learning curves to be made. What is also great about this new kind of cement is that it does not use 90% fly ash like other cements do, which makes this cement environmentally friendly.
