Bo Diddley suffers heart attack: Ellas Bates is now in a stable condition

The musician Bo Diddley suffers a heart attack during a routine medical check-up, while in a hospital in Florida, 74 year old Diddley real name Ellas Bates is now in a stable condition. Bo Diddley started to fill ill during his check up and was then transferred to the ER where he suffered the heart attack; he then had to undergo surgery.

Diddley has been feeling ill for a few months now, he has lost his toes to diabetes and back in may he suffered a stroke which has left him unable to speak. Many rock fans will know just how important Bo Diddley is as he has pioneered a rhythm guitar style that some of the top rock bands in the world use, these include U2 and the mighty Rolling Stones.
