$100 one laptop per child be like
People have been talking about the $100 laptop, you know the one laptop per child one, well firstly it is still in its prototype stage and the first model will in fact cost about $170. But how it could become the one laptop per child is that the outside of this notebook actually looks like it is a toy.

Do not expect the laptop to break any speed records as the processor will only be running at 433 MHz, although this is more than fast enough to do your homework on like write an essay or maybe research by surfing the internet. As the laptop is not very powerful this has helped to save power so the battery could last about 13 hours.

One of the main things on a laptop that drains power is the hard drive as this is always spinning around, but the hard drive in the $100 laptop will not have any moving parts, so it will help to save power and also become more reliable.
