Nasdaq stock ticker symbol to JAVA from SUNW: Sun Microsystems announced

Sun Microsystems said the change to the stock ticker symbol will come into affect as of today.
The CEO of Sun Microsystems, Jonathan Schwartz, commented on the change in stock ticker symbol in a statement saying:
“The Java brand and technology have evolved to be among the most pervasive on the internet, yielding extraordinary awareness for Sun and opportunity for the community that leverages it.”
