BHP Billiton Sees Olympic Dam Uranium Project Delayed

BHP Billiton have said that their resources at the Olympic Dam Projects could be as much as 50 per cent larger than previously thought.
However the project is experiencing some delays although it is not yet clear how severe they are.
However, as The Uranium Stocks Newsletter wrote today, taking the time to get it write could be well worth the wait:
“The need to get it right, to be more capital efficient as they say, are motherhood statements which apply to any project. We don’t see any specifics here, any detail, which in turn suggests that we are still a fair way from the starting post for this project extension.”
It is even more important to get it right after the issue with Cameco and Cigar Lake:
“No doubt that the shadow of Cigar Lake looms large and the concerns of the engineers are being heard and built in to the methodology for this project.”
