At the 25th running year of the Accenture Triathlon in Chicago (currently the worlds largest triathlon weekend), runner Greg Bennett extended his streak of Triathlon victories to 3 years running.

Despite the fact that previous Accenture Triathlon champion Craig Alexander was absent from the lineup, other triathlon winners from the past made the startng line still very impressive. These include Conrad Stoltz (2001), Craig Walton (2002, 2003) and Becky Lavelle (2005). The womens race was won by Emma Snowsill, closely followed by Becky Lavelle who finished 2 minutes later, with a total time of 2:01:24. It will be interesting to see if the current champions will maintain ther positions at next years Accenture Triathlon.
