Verizon Wireless

Over $5 million in incentives could be coming to Verizon Wireless via tax credits for locating a headquarters in Franklin.

Verizon Wireless may get the $5m from both state and county tax credit just for locating a state headquarters Franklin, USA.

Last week Verizon Wireless announced that it was planning to construct a huge $54 million state headquarters a Nashville suburb.

This new Verizon Wireless headquarters will create 600 to 700 new jobs in the next 3 – 5 years.

Do you think Verizon Wireless should be paid so much for creating jobs?

The grants and tax credits almost pay for the entire Verizon Wireless operation, is this too much government interference?
