Rap star DMX in trouble with police for neglecting his dogs

Popular rap star DMX, who’s real name is the slightly less “gangster” Earl Simmons, has recently been in trouble for apparently neglecting his pet dogs. Twelve Pitbull dogs were siezed from his house, and three others found buried in the back yard, one of which a post-mortem found had died from burns.DMX/Simmons wasn’t arrested at the time, and has claimed he hadn’t been at his Arizona property in two months. DMX’s lawyer Murray Richman said “We had a caretaker that wasn’t taking care, that’s what happened. He loves dogs - he loves these animals. Those dogs are practically his family.” 36 year old Simmons has sold 20 million albums, has his own clothing range, and has appeared as an actor in several films, including Cradle to the Grave. Police officers are also in the process of obtaining a warrant to check if several firearms found at the Arizona property are legal.
