Some breaking insurance news is that LifeWise Health Plan of Arizona has just got the green light to resume selling insurance in Arizona; they were given a no-sell order last week by the Washington state insurance regulators.

On Friday the Washington state insurance commissioner and LifeWise both announced that the LifeWise Health Plan insurance is now available to Arizona again.

The reason behind the problems was that LifeWise was accused by the Washington regulators that they were selling health-insurance policies at below-market rates in Arizona.

This was at the expense of its policyholders in Washington and made a few people unhappy.

Washington regulators had apparently concluded that LifeWise has a “reasoned plan” to grow its Arizona business.
