Kansas City Air Show: Over will 50,000 attend to see Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor

This weekend sees the Kansas City Air Show coming to town, and organizers there expect over 50,000 people will attend over the weekend to see the show which is being held at the Wheeler Downtown Airport. The theme at this weekend’s air show is World War II, on the Sunday which is the last day visitors will get the chance to watch the Commemorative Air Force’s re-enactment team simulate a World War II dogfight, and none is more famous than on Dec. 7, 1941 which was when the Japanese attacked on Pearl Harbor.
Gates open on Saturday and Sunday at 9 in the morning and then close at 5 in the afternoon. The price for a ticket is $12 in advance or $15 at the gate, children under 12 get in for free. For any Active duty military personnel they will get in for free on Sunday with identification.
