Reggie Miller will not return to the Celtics or NBA at all
By: Daniel Chubb | August 24, 2007 | Leave a CommentHaving spent two weeks putting himself through a rigurous workout regime ot simulate an NBA season, ex Pacers player Reggie Miller has decided not to make a comeback. However, it appears it is not the tiredness and fatigue associated with full time basketball that put him of, it was the mental requirements. “Physically, I know I could have done it. But mentally, when you do something like this, you’ve either got to be all in or all out. And I’ve decided I’m all out.”
Miller is the NBA’s all time leader in 3 pointers, but retired in 2005 after 18 years with the Pacers. It is clearly obvious from this that he has the ability to be a top star in the NBA, alongside the likes of Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter and Steve Nash, but it seems he has made his mind up. “So never, ever, ever again. If anybody is ever interested in me playing again, please don’t call.”
So, are you disappointed that a legend will not return to the basketball court?
