Warner Bros Bollywood New Movie is set to be ‘Made in China’

Hindi-language movie “Made In China” is being backed by Hollywood studio Warner Bros. The film, is the first of its kind to be shot on location in China. The Bollywood movie features Akshay Kumar as Sidhu, a Mumbai cook who is mistaken as a kung fu hero. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone.

Bollywood is the name for the Mumbai-based Hindi-language movie industry that creates about 800 films a year. That’s twice as many as Hollywood. 14 million Indian people go to the cinema every day and Bollywood movies regularly make the UK box office top 10.

Nikhil Advani is attached to direct, working with Ramesh Sippy Productions. Advani is best known for his musicals “Salaam-E Ishq” and “Kal Ho Na Ho”. Warner Bros have announced that shooting for the film will start in 2008.
