OCZ now have a the fastest memory, with a good overclocking ability. Their new PC3-14400 platinum edition has memory timings of CL8-8-8, this is very high compared with DDR2 modules, although relatively low compared with other DDR3 memory. OCZ will now be able to compete with corsair in the battle be to produce the fastest memory. Back in June corsair got a 2ghz system stable, with timings of 10-10-10. The OCZ PC3-14400 Platinum edition will have an intergarted mirrored heat spreader, with a voltage of 1.9 volts, and will be sold in 1GB sticks, or double 1GB sticks in a dual channel kit.
Do you think that this can put OCZ ahead in the memory game?
