Justin Timberlake Brings Sexy Back To The Love Guru

Now, when we were told a pop star would be joining The Love Guru we were worried. After all this is Mike Myers’ first live-action movie for five years and we really didn’t want it to be ruined by some pop star trying to be an actor. So, imagine our relief when we were told that the fore mentioned pop star was none other than Justin Timberlake.

Justin Timberlake has proved himself a very competent and respectable actor in Hollywood. He was the best thing in Alpha Dog and his regular appearances as a host on Saturday Night Live has made the film industry sit up and take notice of this budding new actor. Oh and I think you’ll find we are all in debt to him for bringing sexy back, which was something we were all lacking in our lives.

Trousersnake Justin has signed up to join funny man Mike Myers’ in his latest comedy, The Love Guru. In the film, we meet Pitka (played by Myers’), an American who was left at the gates of an Indian ashram as a baby and raised by gurus. He decides to try and find fortune as a love guru and his skills are put to the test when he’s employed to settle a rift between a hockey player (Romany Malco) and his estranged wife. The wife, who has been dating a rival hockey player (Timberlake), is causing the hockey player to go off his game, much to the distress of the team’s owner (Jessica Alba) and coach (Verne Troyer).
