Toyota to sell 10.4m
Ok we all know by now that the Japanese automaker Toyota is the biggest car maker in the world, and they would like to cement that even further by being the first automaker to sell more than 10 million cars in a year, to be precise their projection are to sell 10.4 million units in 2009. They will have to work hard to achieve these figures as last year they fell behind General Motors figures of 8.8 million sales.

Toyota feels that demand is going to grow and they are to concentrate their efforts is places such as North America, China, and the up and coming India. Where Toyota hopes to make the biggest gain in sales is in the U.S, as they have seen the price of fuel increase so they will be producing more energy efficient cars.
