Isla Fisher set to star in The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic

A while ago, we told you that Sophie Kinsella’s novel “Confessions of a Shopaholic” would be made into a movie. Today it is reported that cute Aussie actress Isla Fisher will star in the film, to be titled “The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic”.
The film sees Fisher as Rebecca Bloomwood, a recent college graduate working as a financial journalist in New York City. Her Shop-till-you-drop ways are causing a mountain of bills and forces her to find solutions to her mounting debt. On her quest to become debt-free, she falls in love with a highly successful entrepreneur who she’s highlighting for the magazine.
Tracey Jackson wrote the adaptation of the book with PJ Hogan attached to direct and Jerry Bruckheimer producing. Filming will begin in November in New York.
