Mike Flynt Returns To Sul Ross State University After Selling Powerbase Training System

In a move that comes as a big surprise to the sports world, 59 year old Mike Flynt has returned to the Sul Ross State University football team.

We could see Mike Flynt return to the football field as soon as September 1st after years of selling the Powerbase Training System.

Apparently Mike Flynt and some old friends were drinking in a bar when Mike Flynt brought up how he regretted being kicked of the college football team. Then one of Mike Flynt’s friends suggested getting back on the team and before you know it, Mike Flynt was done selling the Powerbase Training System and back on the Sul Ross State University football team, aged 59.

What do you think of Mike Flynt going from selling the Powerbase Training System to playing college football again?

It wasn’t in a bar. There was a large reunion of classmates from the late 60′s and early 70′s at a hotel in San Antonio when he expressed his regrets for “letting his team down”.

Mike has always been driven to excellence. He is a devout Christian who feels he is doing this for a greater purpose than himself. He is an example of the good things in sports. If only he gets as much airtime and press coverage as that cretin Michael Vick.

He is a true roll model for young (and old) people; much moreso that the professional sports thugs and their posses.

Give ‘em hell Mike! Go Lobos!

    To Any Readers:

I am 59 yrs old and active with Masters Track & Field competition, I was extremely excited by Mike Flynt’s going back to play college football at 59 yrs old at Sul Ross State in Texas. I was wondering if anyone can give me a contact on how to find out more about his Powerbase Training System as that may be very helpful to me to get me to the next level of competition.
Mike Flynt: Hallelujah, Brother, keep up the good work. As a fellow christian, you’ve really inspired me to work to the next level as a testimony of God’s blessing to me and as a light for others.
If there will be a website for us to followup on the progress of Mike’s performance during this football season, please share with me. Thanks for your inspiration, Mike.

WOW! I just read Mike’s story in the local paper. What an inspiration. Being in the 50′s myself I can really relate. I am interested in the Powerbase Training System. Is there an actual company? I’m looking to get into something to assist guys our age into a better physical and spiritual shape.
Does anyone know how to contact Mike?

Thanks to all and God Bless!

On September 3, there will be a press conference in Alpine. Mike and the team are waiting til after the first game so that there will be no distraction from the preparations for the season.

    Hey Fellas,

Jack, thanks for anwwering the point about the bar. We were actually at the pool. I’m going to feed Toyah Taylor news and pics of Alpine and Mike’s progress through http://www.sulrossbabyboomers.com. He’s been quite gracious to set this up.

I had a great weekend in Alpine with Mike. Alpine is soooo beautiful even though we had to kill several scorpians and get a snake out of the road that was long enough to tow a car with. The deer are bountiful as the antelope. Truly the last frontier. Stay tuned. Randy

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Flynt in 2003 @the homeschoolers basketball program in Tulsa Ok. I purchased one of his powerbase systems for my then 13yr old son. It has been one of the best investments I have ever made. I would highly recommend his system to any parent who wants to strenthen his athlete at home. By the way Its great for Mom & Dad too. By the way my system is going on 5yrs and still going strong. It was good to hear about Mike again. One of the nicest persons one could meet.
