Anthony Michael Hall

When it was announced that Anthony Michael Hall had been cast in The Dark Knight, the internet worked overtime trying to find out what role he would play in the movie. Warner Bros has decided to keep the project tightly under wraps, which has led to a whole load of spoilers being leaked online. Now, it seems, we have an insight on who Hall could play in the film.

Call sheet spoilers from earlier this month showed that there will be a new character in the film, Reese, who tries to blackmail Lucius Fox using Batman’s identity. Joshua Harto is said to be playing Reese, not Anthony Michael Hall.

So, who could Hall be playing? Well, according to HollywoodChicago, Hall’s character plans to use the Gotham City News to reveal Batman’s true identity. Hall’s character is said to be insanely jealous of Bruce Wayne and even drives a matching Lamborghini Murcielago like him.

HollywoodChicago say, “Of course, the Joker is the true villain. Out of fear that the Joker will lose the object of his game-playing affection, he sets out to stop Hall’s character by calling in a bomb threat to the TV station. The bomb threat causes widespread havoc. The move is designed to steal the attention off the character so he can’t issue the Batman-revealing report.”

So, could it be that Anthony Michael Hall will actually play Reese? Or are the storylines between the two connected? The Dark Knight definitely seems action packed, but can you have too much of a good thing?
